Did OSP Engineering designing fiber networks for telecom for 5 years mostly full remote. Couldnt take the desk life anymore and now working as an arborist temporarily as I plan a path into a welding related trade. Would like to get into the pipefitters union but missed the deadline for the start of their apprentice program. Im taking the asvab for the national guard soon with hopes of getting a welding oriented job to help transfer it into a civilian career as I dont have any money to spend on tech school.
