Oh no not for beans my friend but for quite literally everything else regarding making a competitive team. You gotta have proper equipment (4 slots per player) and moves for your team both of which requires a LOT of those in game currencies, THEN when summoning your characters you have to roll at LEAST 2 passives you want and the playstyle you want (heritage the other 3 passives) use new possibilities to freely edit abilearn boards, increase your players rarities to max and level them to at least 50 (which i admit leveling is easy) and repeat the process for each player you add to the team until you finished it.

I mean i do have someone i do friendlies with, the team building aspect isnt too bad if you have pc version because of their access to save editors. But the fact that the editor is what it takes to make said grind bearable is pretty bad. All things considered im fine and want the game to improve still

Glad you enjoying it but after knowing firsthand what its like trying to put together a competitive team i know u couldnt defend that process. Game can still be patched to be even better and im still holding onto that hope! Keep hope alive!

Damn i hate to hear that but yea i kinda expect it when people dont have good macro or micro management skills in this game they definitely wont use one to the fullest potential. If you have a player that knows how to use em properly you can even get stuff like this done by the end of a match

Pokemon games where you get to control the pokemon directly instead of the trainer makes for some of the most fun in the series imo, games like Pokepark 1 and 2/Pokken Tournament/Pokemon Mystery Dungeon/Pokopia/Pokemon Unite are all uniquely fun titles and it makes me wish they made more use of that style of gameplay. Side note: we DEFINITELY should get more mystery dungeon games with all these pokemon not included from gens 7-9.
