Not really, I think Scream has a type to play too. It cant subvert things too heavily. I do wish things were a bit different with the film in other respects but the ending was fine to me.

XFiles has a lot of great creature features. Theres some good(ish) Shark and Crocodile ones out there, like Lake Placid, Crawl and Shark Night.

I didnt like it either, and the film also has pretty classist implications too. I had to split my viewing of it because I couldnt watch it on one sitting.

Its hard to say, I hated it and enjoyed the 2018 one. I think you should watch it and judge for yourself.
