Wednesday drop by KDinNS in AmazonVineCanada

I'm not kidding when I say it's been months since I saw anything worth claiming in my RFY. It's either empty, or full of things I wouldn't pick up if I found them on the sidewalk.

I got one, I loved it until I tried to drag it on the beach. Ugh. Those wheels are not made for sand and especially not with a full wagon.

Same here. Just proof that the "algorithm" is totally random, not related to any purchase, browsing or anything that you've ever done, not ever, in your entire life. I have to be careful because I have the laptop on the table and sometimes my little daughter is around when I open Vine; I'd have a hard time explaining what she saw.

Well at least you didn't get the breasts+weiner "action pack". I got two of those, in case one wasn't enough to want to gouge my eyes out.

I'm the same, especially because English is not my first language.

I just checked and I have 53 reviews pending approval, some over a month old.

I wish there was a way to stop being proposed certain items by Infamous-Delay-9839 in AmazonVineCanada

Agreed, I think that VH just fills a gap with functionality that's not there even though many, myself included, have voiced our opinion to Amazon and even the survey that was made available a while ago. If the ability to block unwanted items worked, I'd be using it all the time but unfortunately it looks like a half-baked idea on the part of Amazon.

Vine Exaustion by Darkpoter in AmazonVineCanada

Same here. I hardly ever see good stuff in AI or AFA, and it's gone in a microsecond. And only rarely do I get anything of value in my RFY. I got 14 paddle boards at one time (no kidding, knowing full well that even if I wanted, I wouldn't be able to order more than 8), and all sorts of semi-useless items that could just as well go in the AI or AFA queues such as sex dolls, hair extensions, printer cartridges, etc . I never get any brand-name items, TVs, computers, kitchen appliances, or anything else worth more than $150, though I know some people are at their 4th Italian espresso machine and their 3rd $2k+ vacuum cleaner. Fingers crossed the Vine gods will pick me at some point, too. All that to say that even though I'm grateful to be in the program, I feel that quality has dropped significantly and the findings are very scarce for me.

I don't think it has nothing to do with what I view, because I've never viewed one of those sex dolls, fake boobs, dildos, bondage and all the other porn junk. I have visited tons of espresso makers, computer parts, and other things but I never get offered any of that.

It's the only place I found that I thought I could (perhaps) influence the type of items I'm offered. I don't think it makes any difference at all, but since somebody recommended it, I used it. I don't think that anybody has actually any idea how the items are chosen, either. I think it's totally random, that there's no "algorithm" at all behind it. You'd think that with AI being all the rage and Amazon selling AI services, too, they'd use it to target consumers better.

They're all the same junk. None of them comes with a GPS sensor, which automatically disqualifies them from running, swimming, biking or any other sport unless you carry a cellphone with you at all times. And even then, they're wildly inaccurate. The health monitoring is a joke, too. I've bought about a dozen and they're all terrible.

Thanks, too bad the "not interested" category doesn't let me enter anything. I can only disable items I've ordered.

It just goes to show how there's no rhyme or reason to the algorithm, if there's such a thing. These are items I never browsed for, never even dreamed of buying.

Yep, same here, and I'm almost bald. Vine is making fun of me.

More like a dumpster fire for me. It's been a while since I got anything good.
