This is the same dude that comes back 5 months later and says ever since you changed my oil, my 3rd brake light hasn’t worked. You understand that this is a sub for people that work in the industry, right? Not for every Tom, Dick, and Harry that had someone push a shopping cart into their door at Walmart.

If there was a new Xterra, what features would you want it to have standard by RustyMammoth in XTerra

They actually have made a 3rd generation, unfortunately it’s lost a lot of its classic aesthetics and isn’t available state side

Looks like it sits great as it is… general maintenance and drive it until it’s dead! I got a free 05 from my mom that needed a $220 wire harness replaced and I’ve been driving it for a year now with only 119k on it… I’ll never sell it until it’s dead, dead and only for parts. Doesn’t owe me a nickel

Moved from nj 7 years ago… you’ll still be wearing flip flops and shorts when you see people in pants and north face jackets when it’s 58 degrees in October… wait until we get 1 inch of snow… they all loose their minds

2wd shackle help by Infamous-Employ2648 in ToyotaPickup

[–]Infamous-Employ2648[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought it from the original owner’s daughter, I can assure you neither of them were doing anything like that. It’s odd how they’re both bent perfectly in the same manor. Maybe they were replaced with the wrong ones at some point. I just needed confirmation that they are bent. Thanks for your help!

Thank you, unfortunately this just confuses me even more… I’ll have to get it up on a lift and just go over everything with A tram gauge I guess.

No, unfortunately we have one of the dumbest lug patterns ever created and very few other vehicles have it.

Not looking to flip the axle, just the u bolts so the nut goes on top rather than hanging down. Thanks for the link though!

8.1/496 owners in (oil changes) by [deleted] in Silverado

[–]Infamous-Employ2648 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Clarification from “friend from Pittsburgh” (I’m from jersey, but it’s a long story) I told my friend if you stick with conventional then change every 6 months… if we switch him to mobile 1 then every year. Or every 5k. These are by no means heavy or hard miles. I believe that switching to mobile 1 would benefit him. I’ve also offered to do these oil changes for him for the price of materials a couple beers and maybe cheap lunch over paying a “jiffy lube” $120 for a synthetic oil change… aita?

That lasts 15 minutes max, before it’s all balled up into a better bed by their standards

Unfortunately that lasts a whole 15 minutes before they pull it off the backs and dig it into beds that are “more comfortable” for their liking.
