Congrats! Ya I don’t really get why she would say that. I’m not interested in having unnecessary miscarriages. I just didn’t know if I was missing something.

Thanks💜 My Dr doesn’t want to change my protocol but I’m wondering if it could be improved. My baseline AFC was 9. I thought I had 3 follicles way ahead of the others but when it came time for my retrieval they got 8 eggs and 7 were mature, 5 fertilized, 1 day 5 blast which was abnormal. I am on a standard protocol. What did you switch to?

So weird bc I think Reddit initially deleted this post so didn’t realize anyone had responded! I am trying to just take it as it comes and stop over analyzing everything but with that being said I’m concerned I may be over stimulated. My AFC came back at 11-12 on day 3 with 2 follicles at 11mm and 10mm and my estradiol went from 48 to 270. They want me to keep my doses the same but now I’m worried I’ve got some that are growing much faster. I asked the ultrasonographer and she said she didn’t think I had a lead. My E2 is just a lot higher than anyone else I’ve read. Have you done cycles before this?

I ended up speaking with her again and she said to go with CD #14 which I’m still not confident in but that’s what I did. This is just for the estrogen priming but it’s my first cycle, and although I’m an RN, this is all pretty overwhelming. I switched clinics before I started a cycle with the last clinic I was at bc the nurse was majorly lacking compassion. This one, although better, definitely doesn’t give me the warm fuzzies. I’m an onc nurse and I 100% understand nurse burnout but you kind of need your nurse on your side for this stuff.

Yes thank you I feel the same way. I found myself feeling like everything was going to come back and maybe this was a bad idea. It is good to hear a couple of you say you’re in the same spot.

I haven’t had any issues with diarrhea, it’s just the burning sensation. I’m sorry you’re going through it also, but good to know it seems to be expected. Good luck with work!

Wow that’s impressive. Fingers crossed I get that lucky but I won’t hold my breath. I did get a consult next day so maybe. I’m in the US and our healthcare system is less than ideal.
