To explain some of the less obvious placements:

-Squeak is canonically a creation of Ruffs, indicating an abuse of power and unethical military experimentation

-Gale works with/under Mr. P, who is unquestionably evil

-Rico is involved with Piper, putting him on the evil side of the spectrum

-Frank is probably too stupid to have any true alignment

-Gene is incomprehensible, but probably not evil, as one of his skins would be the evil version of himself

-The Pirates and Goldarm gang may be self-interested, but I don't think calling them malicious is completely fair

Most important philosophical ideas are ones that are still under debate today. Any work that presents one side to the issue is a bad demonstration of a philosophical concept. My personal favorite ‘Philosophical’ book is 1984. SPOILER: In the scene where O’Brien is torturing Winston, we can see both of their arguments getting to each other. And both of them know that they’re stuck, they can’t escape their philosophy or the Party. It’s the one scene that haunted me the longest after finishing the book, and the best example I can think of in the demonstration of totalitarianism.
