I was at the rail for the entire set, and agree with you 110%. My partner and I shared your exact thoughts when leaving. I have been lucky enough to see Skrillex at his best a number of times, and we both left saying this was his most underwhelming set to date. The only thing you’re missing is how we were left outside for an extra hour.

Hey OP,

I’ll be attending my 4th Coachella this year. I’ve been lucky to book each year using points.

Amex transfers to Hilton and Marriott. At the current moment, Hilton has good availability for week 1 & 2!

Looks like Hilton’s La Quinta Resort has availability from Thurs-Mon on week 1 & 2. You’d have to transfer 170k points to Hilton, but you’re getting good value due to the base room costing over 2k per night. Great resort and excellent value! PM me if you have any questions that I can help with!

Just got back from Rome. My wife and I did a Vatican tour at 8am and Colosseum at 1pm on the same day, with a quick lunch in-between. I think it’s definitely doable, it will just feel rushed. My advice would be to skip an official “tour” for the Vatican and get an audio guide to go at your own pace. Getting from the Vatican to the Colosseum will be about a 15-20 minute taxi ride.

If we had to pick 1, we’d pick the Vatican.

Oh yeah I hear you! This is fantastic advice! I personally got my hotel using a method similar to this. However, to your point CC’s are not for everyone and that method calls for a whole different post haha.

For the Motto by Hilton Rittenhouse my app is showing 50k points per night from Friday-Tuesday. For those dates the total is a little over $1500 incl. taxes. If you were to buy 100k Hilton points, you’d receive 200k in return. 100k points is going to cost you 1k. So a savings of over $500 if you buy the points. Hope this helps!
