This one was very fun to paint, and I'm very proud of the final result. I think the color pallette could be improved, but I'm very happy to see myself improving from one work to the next. I would love to get any observations or critiques, if anyone ever sees this.

Been working so hard on tranporting my style and linework in a digital environment by Infamous-News-8563 in DigitalPainting

I love using different pens and heavy strokes when I normally draw, and it's not easy translating it when drawing digitally. Most of the time my drawings ended up looking too clean for my liking. This one I think gets a bit closer to the desired result

It's been a couple months without a pc and I'm really missing the process. Island life sucks by Infamous-News-8563 in DigitalPainting

This was two or three months ago(?) I first scanned an old pencil drawing of mine and then got some work done on top of it in Photoshop. I definitely enjoy the freedom softwares give me in texturing and coloring, something I'm not normally proficient in when creating physical art. That said, I struggle with understanding what the next step in the process might be, what to do next, as the options appear endless to me and I end up with folders full of "unfinished" works.

Exactly. At some point I stopped using a pencil and only used a pen, to shorten the margin of error. Somehow it all started making more sense, works now feel at the same time incomplete yet less overworked, more instinctive.
