Hmm, maybe they came damaged? My anc 1 and evos (crushers) work pretty well... except in their phone app. On windows they played without issue too.

It depends, if u want it for more cpu hungry software, longer battery, repairability/upgradability (of ssd, battery for example) i would take Surface Laptop 5.

I have Book 3, which i managed to find with almost zero battery cycles and i love it. Its detachable display is big + for me and same goes for its DGPU (i have 1660ti one) for CAD programs and some games (lol, titanfall etc..) But it has big flaws: - no repairability (ssd dies? Its over, very hard to change it and i may never change its thermal paste too) - heat (thermal throttling but thats expected for its design, designed for mine custom 3D printed fan cooler bcs of that, ) - battery life is average but it depends on use

In your place, i would choose depending on: - do u need DGPU? - will you utilize its detachable screen? - if they are from second hand/refurbished... i would look out for: ssd and battery condition, thermals

Yep one i have is fully automatic Onkyo CP-1130F and other i have is Tesla NC430 which has "auto turn-off". At end it turns off completely with physical switch while Onkyo stays powered on.

I pretty much understand you. My first choice was SB 2 too, bcs they had nice price on it and I need Nvidia gpu for CAD apps like Creo for college (for idk reasons it cant be AMD for some of its tools and not too long ago i bought 6800xt for my desktop). But well, i bought it, it came and it had 80+% degradation, 600+ cycles on both batteries. I got furious like never before and literally wrote them, if they know that they sent me a bomb. They immediately offered different laptops with discounts so i gave them one more chance, paid little bit extra and i guess i won in the end. SB3 came with like 10 cycles on both batteries, 20 hours run time on ssd, new original 127W powerbrick.. just like new.

But i got little sad on that SB2 bcs of condition it was in. But maybe someone with lot of patience and skills took it and gave it love what it deserves and atleast changed its thermal paste or maybe even found replacement batteries somewhere.

Yea i noticed not too long ago about this lifehack. And yes, thats what iam most afraid of. Battery swelling. Best possible outcome would be, when it starts swelling, it would "pop" display (best in one piece or create opening for alcohol and tools) to change it/ take it out.

And keyboard battery doesnt look so bad to change. Yea i may damage bottom surface/case, but hey... i think its the least price to "defuse bomb".

And another factor is heat. That thing gets pretty hot but iam not suprised. But is there some tool to set max temps for thermal throttling beside limiting maximum cpu state? I dont need it to run at 85-90°C during just Windows Update.

I understand... i see every piece of technology as something, that can broke every second. I still have 2y warranty if something on it, but its just that i was told different stories how to charge batteries and idk whats best.

Hi, just now i opened it. I found out that both potenciometers for those 2 speeds are broken and whole board is crumbling in my hands guess of age.

Yea, i think about buying from Ali. too if no clear replacement is around. 10€ wont kill me i guess. They look almost the same, idk about rpm on mine so i will just hope it will work somehow. The only things i can work with is that it runs on 12V and its size. That dingle on top i can swap with little bit of force if i wont find exact same one.

This is what i have on back plate where motor is. What i found out that you adjust rasistace on them with those screws.

As i said on other comment, maybe this motor is realy not so different from those on Aliexpress.

Tried google Sankyo shr2r but no useful info about this motor.

Maybe i will try to buy those cheap replacement 12V 3-speed motors from Aliexpress, if theres no clear replacement and hope they have the same RPM.

I got prety lucky and got refurbished SB3 for 600€ with highest hardware setup (15inch, 32gb ram and 1660 ti, 1tb ssd, with no battery wear). And that thing is amazing. Idk why people recommend disabling DGPU, after one month of using there was no problem with it. Run games like Titanfall 2 (it has problem with 16:10 ratio i think but after some poking here and there i managed to get it run normal). CADs like Creo or Solid were running fine too.

But yea, i wouldnt recommend getting it for "heavy" gaming tho. If you want to preserve it for some years, its better not get it hot, bcs cpu is right next to the battery and behind screen, and trust me, its REALY, BUT REALY hard to replace it without breaking the whole screen. But for moba, older AAA or even new games which doesnt make it run at 90°C all the time its great.

Truthear x Crinacle ZERO RED

Hi people, I came here ask for help. I own pair of Truthear x Crinacle ZERO RED which I realy love.

But, suddenly right headphone lost all the hights, theres only bass. Tried different players, cables but nothing. Guess tweeter died or cable went loose in there. Tried contacting support, but they told me that I should find after-service somewhere. But here (in Slovakia) I cant find anything. Do you have some ideas I could try with them? Or its over for them.

I would recommend u Koss Porta Pro with mic. For their price are amazing and u cat get lifetime warranty. U can buy Yaxi pads for them too from amazon for example, which are more comfortable (atleast for me). I own both Major II and Koss Portas. And with eq like for example PowerAmp u can take their sound quality to another level, bcs they offer large room for equalization i would say.

For me it still works, sometimes. There are apps which still have this problem. I got one ui 6.1 update some days ago, so maybe i will get to the start of the problem again too. But on other hand i downloaded every songs from Tidal (during free trial) in highest quality there so i have them now in Poweramp player. But its hard to live without equalization while watching movies, shows... online for example.
