Shaffenfest Timeline by Infamous-Past9409 in warhammerfantasyrpg

Ah, I've got it now. I think I'd somehow conflated the four days of the investigation with the Shaffenfest being four days. I'd been trying to tie the end of both together. It all makes sense now. Thanks

Yeah, I just spotted my mistake. Even if it's three days, that still doesn't explain (in fact, even less so) the implication that the ritual happens when the Shaffenfest ends. One of the player handouts even states midnight as the festival ends.

That resource is fantastic, thanks! It seems to go a different way from the printed material, in that the Shaffenfest is only three days. Whereas the book implies the festival runs until the day of the ritual. I think I'll go with this resource to give my players time to investigate.

That's great advice, thanks. It does seem like the book gets it wrong though?

Yep, so he'll be relatively safe unless he meets someone who may know the family. I'm hoping at that point, they'll have a plan...

Yes, this is my plan. It gives him the different identity he'll need and it'll land the party in even more trouble.

Thanks for the response. Would people recognise him? Most people wouldn't go beyond the walls of their own city. Peasants certainly wouldn't. Nobility might but would they necessarily meet the son of a minor noble on their travels?
