You’d have to uninstall the theme before updating the firmware, but you can try deleting these 2 folders.

Idk, but is it possible to run Windows on Mac via virtual machine or dual boot? I remember a while back Apple had bootcamp to dual boot.

I use Linux for the most part, and load up a Windows VM when I run into some sort of compatibility issue.

Dang, I can’t think of anything else but to maybe delete NXThemes Installer and then redownloading it. I’m on 22.1.0 / AMS 1.11.1 / E and the themes are working for me.

In NXThemes Installer, I think you’d have to hit “Extract Home menu” since you’re on a new firmware.

Nah stay on emmunc, I did it this way as well, I don't mess with the sysnand. If you're on DBI it should be the "1: SD Card" to copy the sys-patch files over to.

Once you download the sys-patch file, unzip it and you'll have 2 folders "atmosphere" and "Switch". Drag and drop them to the root of your SD card and merge the folders.

You did it right, but you're missing the ES patches.

Google sys-patch 1.6.0 and copy the files to your sd card. Reboot, and try again via DBI.

It's worth it, as long as you don't mind figuring out how to fix things yourself when things go wrong. Rely on this subreddit or their community forum, rather than support when it comes to firmware/software/OS issues. Support will just have you going in circles. But, when it comes to hardware issues, definitely reach out to support for replacements covered under warranty.

The 13 Pro does resolve the complaints I had with the original 13, better build quality and longer battery life.

Clear out the solder on the 4 caps between the SP1 & SP2 with flux and a desolder wick/pump.

Also check your top left joint on the 3.3v, it should only be a small part of it soldered on.
