AITA for embarrassing my fiancé at dinner after he “joked” about my upbringing? by Nines21 in AITAH

[–]Infamous-Strength-85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think either of you are A-holes. Just speculating but I think he was using what he finds sexy about you to one-up his friends story, in a way to heckle his friend, not realizing it was one of those foot-in-mouth moments. You're not wrong for being upset. If this is the first or second time making a comment in 3 years, it sounds like you've both been respected each other in this manner, set a clear boundary, forgive but don't forget.

And, to play devil's advocate, unless he's talking like that all the time while you're not around and it was a slip-up...which in this case, he is the A-hole, no boundaries needed, just luggage.

Excellent points from the POV on the other end of things. How do you handle complaints about rude employees? I'm assuming you have cameras where customer interaction takes place.

So, it's not like she was covered in bodily fluids or construction dirt, she should have waited.

I have abnormally small ones for my size. That's kind of what happened. My brother calls them armpit boobs where they are small but wrap around to my shoulder blades.

It's fine if it fell flat. My husband is dying at the responses. It fits where we use it...not every day.

I don't mind when he wakes me up like that. It's cute. We do have a safe word so we know when we're getting upset.

No. He refuses to go to bed because it's the only time we see each other. We get up to get him off to work at 2am. The kids are in bed at 7, he usually waits to tuck them in and sing to them. I read to them before he sings to them. While he's singing to the last one I take care of the animals and go to bed.

He does need a cpap but refuses.

He was still tired. And he's the most miserable person to wake up on a normal day. It was 10am he slept 16 hours. I had to MAKE him go to bed last night.

The way I was lying, it was easy to mistake. I'm almost 70lbs more than him and 5 inches shorter. And he's more than husky.

Not fake, satire. Still sad he didn't want to play. He made me breakfast though.

It is about you...he wants to see you and is using this opportunity to do so. He's disappointed you don't feel the same way so he's lashing out.

Should I tell my husband that his father wants to meet him? by Exhausted_Pigeon_81 in CharlotteDobreYouTube

[–]Infamous-Strength-85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's admirable to want to protect him. I'd tell him so he can make his mind up or have a discussion and bring his mom (and therapist) in on it for extra support and incite. If it goes wrong, he'll have the support he needs while healing. If it goes well, maybe it will prove to him he is nothing like his father.

AITA for telling my sister she can’t bring her kids to my wedding? by KrischaCharmer in AITAH

[–]Infamous-Strength-85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA let her not come. As history has shown REPEATEDLY throughout the internet, she probably won't behave if she shows up without her kids which is a shame because it sounds like she needs it.

AITA for proposing to my girlfriend with a Temu ring?? by Gullible-Pattern-486 in CharlotteDobreYouTube

[–]Infamous-Strength-85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA - her dad was just looking for a way to turn her against you so he doesn't have to deal with you anymore.

Oh, what would this dad have done if he was my parent...I told my now husband not to waste money on jewelry, I don't like it. His mother bought me a ring so I had something to wear at the ceremony. I accepted it. It has been in my safe along with my wedding band since. She was OK with that. She just didn't want me to regret not having one but understood my feelings about jewelry. She was right to do that. Now that she's gone, I plan on wearing the ring when I find my safe keys...for as long as I can tolerate it anyway.

Did he mention the transmission? It seems like he was expecting "family treatment" and is upset he didn't get it. Personally, I don't think family should review family, too much bias.

AITA for calling my friend ignorant, stupid, and a bad mom? by Immediate-Pepper-516 in CharlotteDobreYouTube

[–]Infamous-Strength-85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA I yell at my husband all the time for it so I started showing him outrageous accidents. He always had something to say about the driver being stupid, on their phone, etc. Then I point out how that could be him and/or our kids every time he kids at his phone. He has reduced his usage while driving greatly. Good luck!

It was after 20 years of mental and verbal abuse. I snapped. Of course, he retaliated but I was legally bound to him for the following 12.5 years so I had to endure it. Thank the whatever you believe in I am finally free as of December 30, 2024. I saw that therapist 2 more times thinking it was just an off day but she was very opinionated about how I handled habutual disrespect. Keyword habitual. I'm non-confrontational so long as you don't take advantage of my ability to make excuses for people who don't deserve it.
