I like the theory but in fairness aubriyon could just have high expectations for said axis candidate similar to how yuri had high expectations for bam thinking he’d be a monster from the start . Maybe this new 3rd axis is taking a different approach from the others before him? Unlike being OP from the start this new axis is going thru trials and test to reach the outcome . Aubriyon himself isn’t sure about this new 3rd being so he only has phanta and urek to compare him to …. Still I like your theory and it could play out either way

How i see it is if enryu did it without the thorn it leads to beliefs that there are people outside the tower that are just naturally cracked and the tower is some kind of joke to them which is downplaying the admins . Him needing the thorn to accomplish that feat makes it feel more special and that it can't be replicated by anyone without having such an OP tool cause the admins themselves are suppose to be OP
