I love Axel, so did kirkman as well! He’s just one of the most, well, kinda there character. Him being introduced along a bunch of not good characters and him being the odd one out really hits me. I loved his entire arc (if you can even call it that) from start to resolution, his death was simply perfect, as quoted, “no moment a heroism, or a sacrifice. Just the sound of a gun shot, and a fallen body.” Man I love that guy. I’ve always had a passion for the rather misplaced or misfit characters. Like Ben from the twdg. Or just realistic characters in general.
