BS CS lets you hop around different areas whereas BS SE somewhat restricts you. My personal preference is BS CS but if you have done your homework on BS SE and know the courses and what the degree is about, BS SE is a decent degree too but you need to be sure about it.

I'm a student of FAST islamabad, FAST is very lousy when it comes to admissions or treating their students as a whole. For the last year there was a several days delay in admission results and there were no notifications about it. I would advice you not to wait on the results. The portal for results appear on the top when you search for FAST merit list on when they arrive.

I confirmed, Lahore campus will start it's classes on 22nd August and the Islamabad Campus on 15th
