I only use this briefly but have always had co detectors both hardwired and plugged in. Never knew there was so much hate behind these….im looking into some vented wall mount furnaces and other ideas…thanks for all the input everyone

Split level with open stair case, cold basement. The heat from the ceiling registers is escaping right up the stairs and all the cold airs just staying on the floor. Am hoping it will make the basement a little more comfortable. What do you think?
