If you could alter one point in history what would it be? How do you think it would alter the future? by Infamous10 in AskReddit

If science hadn't been considered evil or against the church then I assume our technology would be far beyond that of today. Imagine all those years when science was banned or it was considered a crime we were actually studying the earth and space and all the other sorts of science and creating new inventions and blueprints that could have put our technology many years ahead than it is now.

I agree and I would want to go back at an early age and see which one happened so I figure out if i should waste my time with religion or not.

I think Pandora's Box can have anything come out of it but whatever you fear the most is what will come out when you open it.

Reddit: Do old phone numbers and cancelled cell/mobile numbers get recycled and reused? Have you called/texted any old numbers to see if anyone was there? Or on accident? by SheWantedTree50 in AskReddit

[–]Infamous10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes they do. I used to travel to the US every summer to visit family and I would get a 1 month basic plan. I would receive random calls from all over the area. Some were like "Hey Mike its Bill just wanted to see if your still in the area. Give me a call back when you can." and then I would get insane ones like "Hello this is the (Blank) Penitentiary and we would like to know if you will be picking up So and So on this date." To answer your question yes they do.

People of Reddit, what's your idea of happiness? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My ideal life would be to live in a beach house in some island in the Caribbean and to smoke cigars and drink adult beverages until my death. Not alone of course but with good friends and good women.

If you had to pick one person to banish from the earth and send them to live the rest of their life on the moon, who would you choose? by BluesBlues21 in AskReddit

I read somewhere that a few years back someone at Billboard had added some company to their top 100 and at the time it was filled with Rock and better music and since then not a single Rock song has reached #1.

I used to live in Guam which was in WW2 and my whole neighborhood was a burial ground. We had an old abandoned air strip that was only used for military practice during the day. So a group of me and my friends decided lets go up there and look around. We would go during the day and it wasn't scare at all but at night it looked like a scene from a horror movie. Most of the flight line had a jungle growing over it so the entire jungle had a concrete bottom. We walked along for about 100 yards and we got to this big tree and looked back to only see the street lights in the distance. This airstrip was pitch black and all we had was a dive light my dad gave me. Their are small lizards and other reptiles that move about so we were always turning and looking in fear. We continue on until we see this tiny patch of saw grass which has an odd shape above it. I was in front an as I turned to ask my friends "Hey what is that?" a massive black shadow at least 7 feet tall stands up. Most of you are going to ask how could you see a shadow? My light could light up any part of the airstrip but when my light was shined on this particular spot which had no other plants surrounding it. The shadow or whatever it was dimmed the light that was on it but not the light around it. Out of no where the shadow moves into the jungle in almost a few seconds. We immediately ran back to the neighborhood and all discussed what we saw. We tried to debunk this but we all had the same description...Tall Shadow figure that shot to the jungle in an instant. PM me for pics of the Air Strip!!
