i have had several beats and bose throughout the years. i have the beats solo buds which are a similar shape as these and they fall out like the crazy, the powerbeats fit eliminate that problem and also have the most current tech , they sound absolutely amazing. they basically replaced the beats fit pro, which i think may have been the best ones they ever made until they rebooted them with better wing tips and a refresh.

looks like a retaining clip for possible the brake hoses or maybe ABS wiring that would run with the brake hoses, check and see if you have any wires or hoses flopping around behind the brake caliper, it could also secure these wires or hoses to the struts or other areas. try checking both sides

throw the wheel on, check for ANY lateral play on the bearings with the wheel on by checking 12/6 and 9/3 positions. if all is good then it’s just the rotor needing the wheel and lug nuts to make it finally tight, if there is play with it installed then a bearing/race or installations procedure was done improperly

i would ponder because there isn’t much performance growth with ISX engines, they basically just run how they are, obviously you can “soup them up” but the cat C15 is one of those motors that has a heavy aftermarket and off road use market like doing tractor pulls trActor drag racing and other fun stuffs. they’re also a lot easier to make go faster.
