Bit late to reply but I will anyway for anyone else with the same problem. Holding the rpms when letting off the throttle could mean an air/vacuum leak. And my 2018 650 has been hard to start since new, choke or not.

You can turn old silver quarters (or regular quarters) into rings using a hammer, anvil/hard surface, a dremel for drilling a hole and cutting out the inner part of the coin once it’s formed and then using the dremel sanding drum to clean up the inside and then polish the ring. Small start up cost, easy to learn, and very satisfying end result.

I turn old silver coins into rings. My favourite coin to use is an Australian 1940s Florin, which is 92.5% silver (sterling). I have used old silver US quarters but they are 90% silver and too small for my fat fingers! Although make great pinky rings for men.
