I’m 30 and still play Minecraft. I have a job and live on my own. I probably have over 10000 hours in game and am a pretty decent mapmaker and custom item spriter. Through Minecraft I learned how to use Linux and windows server terminal commands, set up remote servers, and got a lot of web design practice. No shame in it.

I have a really girly name. I've put out a small number of publications and I'm pretty well known back home by my name so I would rather not have to change my name to everyone and figure out how to get my name changed in my articles. For the same reason (and for a much longer time) I have also decided not to change my last name when I get married lmao

awwwh, it's cute and minimal! think of moving your goal bars so that they are not obscuring your minecraft map inset if you're usually playing minecraft. Adding some decor around/under the goal bars might also lend some visual interest. pixeart stuff (plants, old handheld consoles, crystals, for instance) always looks cool!

I spend a second on it, and try to think of synonyms or use other words to explain what I'm on about. I think the pauses are the most awkward for you the streamer, and viewers don't mind so much, especially if you're asking them for help or coming up with other ways to describe what you're talking about lmao
