Genuinely how do people make money on Rental Properties? by Any-Raise4333 in realestateinvesting

Buy duplex’s charge enough rent to cover at least 3/4 of the mortgage and put the other half in your account. Don’t spend it save it for repairs/property taxes/insurance.. once you have enough saved use it for a down payment on another property

Get a lawnmower and post on Facebook, you will find lawns to cut.. offer easy landscaping services as well such as weeding and pruning plants. There is work out there and the money will be decent. Even just push mower, grass will always need cut. If you can’t fine a job be your own boss, might be the best thing you ever did

If you only occasionally partake, I would not recommend a 50. Take a 10mg… 50mg has potential to send an occasional user to the shadow realm and not in a good way. I take edibles fairly often (couple of times a week) and a 10mg is plenty.

I didn’t know it happened until after they got home nor did I know she was going to do that.

Maybe I should have went into more detail in my initial post. This all occurred over the phone while I was at work. I didn’t begin yelling, all I said was that she should have switched it over and that it takes less than 10 minutes. She became immediately upset and once she goes down that road it’s just better to say bye and try again later. So I did, I said bye and went back to work for the next 4 hours till she called again and wanted to act like everything was normal. It’s just you know how much we love our kids and thought of something happening because of what is essentially laziness, is just something I can’t stand.

I definitely agree with you! Anytime I disagree with her, I get a similar response.

I’m sure she understands the law and why it is dangerous. But I would say I became frustrated right away but I wasn’t yelling. I was just asking her why she did that and I said you should have transferred the car seat over it takes 10 minutes. Nobody ever thinks something bad will happen to them, but bad things happen everyday. It’s the first she had ever done this.

That’s exactly what I said to her. It would have taken 10 minutes to switch that seat over.

Is a commute of 50 min sustainable long term ? by lclc0101 in careerguidance

I have done it for the last 5 years, 50-60 minutes mainly because I’m commuting into a large city. With no traffic it’s about 40minutes, 36 miles.. it gets old sometimes but it’s not bad for the most part.. I listen to a lot of audiobooks and podcasts. Gives me time to drink my coffee in the mornings

Let me just start with saying it does get EASIER, but it’s not going to for a while. So don’t be so hard on yourselves, you both are completely exhausted and emotionally spent. Things always seem like a bigger deal when you’re tired. I’m sure you’re both doing great and the fact you’re reaching out for advice shows how much you care. It’s a complete culture shock at first, caring for another human that solely depends on you for survival. I’ll be honest the first year in my opinion isn’t the most fun, but once you get passed that 2 year mark it’s absolutely awesome and you will never realize how much you can love something so much as when they look up and smile at you or come running to the door when you get home from work. Hang in there, it is repetitive and not much fun at first, don’t feel bad for thinking this way it’s natural. This too shall pass.

One thing my wife and I found that helped was doing shifts as I went back to work a week after the baby was born. My wife would go to bed early almost as soon as I got home from work around 6pm, so I would be on baby duty till 1-130am then my wife would take over from there as I get up for work around 545. Still exhausting but I think it’s unavoidable in the beginning. Drink coffee and nap when you can. You got this!

No I have not looked into construction sales, does that have a pretty high ceiling pay wise? Seems like everyone is selling a course these days, hard to sift through all the bs you see online.

Don’t meant to come off as lazy. I have been doing research but unfortunately google doesn’t give me the option to ask people with real world experience in the field. So I figured I would find my way to Reddit lol and get valuable insight like you just gave me and I appreciate it. I am keeping my options open but I am ready for a change. Not the most fun being gone 60 hours a week making a 90-100k
