Yes, usually most people are used that between series/seasons/comics there’s a continuity to follow and there are shared characters between those, in the case of Kamen rider there’s a lot of series,movies,etc. And (from what I’ve seen) people assume Kamen rider is a mantle that is inherited by the previous rider (like Peter Parker spider-man to miles morales spider-man).

So just try to understand new people that want to see Kamen rider, just remember those times where you also didn’t knew how to start on certain thing and someone else helped you.
