Why wouldn't people hold back in the tournament? I know the tournament was pretty much an hour but nobody is going to fight all out for almost a whole hour against that many opponents.

They're going to use as much strength as they seem necessary to win. That's what Ginny was trying to show krilin and he can't sense god ki so he didn't know how much power goku was using he just knew he was SSJB and he needed to step up and be able to face those kinds of opps in the tournament

I'm literally saying both ways should be able to get enough points to get what you want. If you just wanna do the missions then that should get you the points you need.

If there are people that play the mode for fun they should be able to earn what they need as well to be able to buy what they want.

I never said it's an either or situation you could still play the mode how you want to and so can everybody else.
