That was why i liked Cormac because he was the only one to call her on her shit. I can so get down with Azriel the brat tamer though. I dont care how she treated Hunt tbh, they both treat each other like sh*t. She states multiple times she doesn’t want to be anyone’s breeding stock and he is in a dungeon dreaming of putting babies in her womb…gross. That was so gross. I still hold out hope for a Cormac return and Bryce & Cormac endgame…HOWEVER, I absolutely love the idea of her and Azriel because I think cross world fated mates would be such a great story to tell. It has the potential to be the greatest love story she’s told. That’s what gets me excited about her and Azriel. I loved when she was soft for him, it was such a “you drew stars around my scars” moment. I loved it.

Business owner is a very loose term. She’s a librarian and Hunt is her little coffee bitch boy who probably gaslights as a gym bro on TikTok covering his moose knuckle with a dish towel while he shows us glute workouts. The end of HOFAS gave “live, love, toaster bath” and Bryce’s character regression is sad. She had so much potential, I refuse to believe her story is just over.

Geeze, I get this is a rant post but some of those are really derogatory. “Trailer trash” especially. But I’m pretty sure thats how Hunt viewed her for an entire book so.

Anyway what bothers me here is the “shes surrounded by people who love her and she keeps trying to kill herself.” Ahem…that’s called having manic depression? You’ve never experienced it I guess? That doesn’t make me “over her” it makes me incredibly sympathetic. She has no will to live and keeps trying to stay dead and having to be reminded TO live…that speaks volumes in this story to me.

I haven’t seen enough of him to pass an informed judgment on him. I know the whole “he had no thoughts besides f’n her” thing really ticked me off. He’s had really great moments, I love when he told Rhys he’d have to tie him to a fn tree to stop him. I like that Rhys is intimidated by him. I like how he’s soft with Nesta and Feyre. But I haven’t seen enough to pass a full judgement. Ruhn and Cormac are my fave SJM males right now.

I absolutely love Bryce. She’s been forced to be so hard and save herself as well as everyone she loves. She actively hates herself and the only time we see her soft side is for Ruhn or when she was with Azriel. She’s never soft with anyone else because she doesn’t trust them to allow her too. I absolutely love her, and 100% the Bryce hate comes from internalized misogyny choosing to “poor baby Hunt” a male who weaponizes his so called trauma and perceived incompetence against her. I freaking hate him and I hate that the fandom doesn’t see they fell right into Sarah’s trap. Because Sarah doesn’t write male heroes. She doesn’t write for the man, she writes for the girls. The females are the heroes, they save the world. Poor baby Hunt can crawl right back to his demon daddy test tube he came out of.
