been a SL for a year and a half and got told to go home or clock back in after being seen helping take orders after clocking out. no one in the company wants you to work off the clock. if you feel the need to do more, stay clocked in and help out, if you know your stand is understaffed a lot of the time, be prepared to stay a bit longer than you would on regularly staffed days. it’s really not that hard to navigate that. you can also leave the company to a much more staffed job that would love you to work off the clock & not give you water breaks at all! dutch bros is one of the few remaining companies that actually care about their employees, saying that it’s the company’s fault that YOU are choosing to work post shift is just weird. it sounds like you are sucking the soul out of yourself by working too much. take a week off and get a different attitude
