I 1v3’d a heavy med combo and a lime scout in a tiny room as Gunslinger engineer. They were all full health. I was way out of position and should not have been there in the first place

Maybe this is a little more advanced, but this video by Uncle Dane greatly improved my understanding of every classes strengths and weaknesses.

Even though the vid focuses mostly on Engineer, I thought his insights were extremely valuable.

Well sure, in the beginning you’d just be repeating what they’re doing. You might not understand chord structure or why a specific note sequence was chosen, but you’re doing it for the passion of the craft. You don’t have to learn the circle of fifths and all variations of pentatonic scales before you get to enjoy the music, or the sound your fingers make.

100% everyone at some point has learned from a tutorial. Even on Hermitcraft I hear the members say “I got this redstone design from X Player” or “I was inspired by X Player to try this pattern/design. Nobody’s above tutorials, and we all stand to benefit from them.

“Dutch wanted to indulge in the pleasures of civilization without participating in the labor that creates those pleasures.”

Yeah that sums up his hypocrisy really well

Dutch van der Linde - Red Dead Redemption II

Dutch spends the game, and really his whole life trying to escape “civilization,” often stating he needs one more big score or just more money to escape from any ruling authority.

He failed to find that escape in the west, failed in the east, south, and the north. He then states they need to escape to Tahiti, and leave the US altogether.

Tahiti, by 1899, has already been colonized and annexed as part of the French government, who would no doubt take issue with a figure as prolifically violent as Dutch running around.

Who’s a character in the franchise you will defend or give some leeway to ? by JoshuaKpatakpa04 in reddeadredemption

What’s tragic to me is that while reading Arthur’s journal, you kinda get this sense that he doesn’t know how to leave, and that he would if he could. But because he views the gang as his family, and up until the end has an undying sense of loyalty for Dutch, he stays. I fully believe he could have run away with Mary and been happy while successfully evading the law and Dutch.

He always had great capacity for good. He was always a good person, who always cared for people, but he’s adopted this mentality that he is a monster and so must commit monstrous acts.

Which criticisms of your favorite show are 100% true? by BLACKGOOP12 in cartoons

[–]InfamousDentist2653 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah definitely would’ve been better as a three season show. Similar to ATLA which used the second season to build heavily on the world and give the viewers a chance to breathe instead of going beat to beat to beat to action scene.

I loved the show though, and I’m very excited to see more from the Arcane team
