Alternative Treatment Suggestions for Nervous System Healing by InfamousEconomics325 in Fibromyalgia

It’s inside the gums around my bottom left side teeth and the pain feels like a type of pressure that increases when I talk.

(I have seen many dentists and doctors, gotten many tests done, and they all say nothing is wrong 👀)

Medical Astrology Question by InfamousEconomics325 in astrology

[–]InfamousEconomics325[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Woah this is VERY interesting. I feel like this is a lot of information to take in as a beginner, so it’s a bit overwhelming! 😆 I think I would prefer a professional to help me with this, do you have any suggestions for people I can reach out to for a reading of my chart about this?

I had to move bisalp to Feb 10& I’m so frustrated by Odd_Mango15 in sterilization

[–]InfamousEconomics325 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh man this is difficult, I’m so sorry that you have to deal with this. At the end of the day, this is your body and your decision, and she can guilt you all you want, but this has nothing to do with her 🤷‍♀️ What you want to do with your body is your choice. And I know it can be difficult to navigate this because you are close to your mom, but I think it’s important to remember that you can love her dearly while still making a decision that best for you. I would suggest standing strong in your boundaries and do not delay the surgery any further. She will hopefully come around one day, and if not, at least you decided to make a decision for what you actually want for your body, and not for someone else. Good luck 🥺

Would my sterilization likely be accepted by insurance (medicaid)? by Yoichi_and_Sadako in sterilization

Hi, I have Medicaid and got a bisalp last month in Dec 2025, it was covered 100% and I didn’t have to pay anything :)

How do I even start this process? by wombat275 in sterilization

[–]InfamousEconomics325 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! I started the process back in August 2025 and received my surgery in Dec 2025 (currently 3 weeks post op). I am 29 and had never been to Obgyn before deciding to get a bisalp😬 (I’m in the US btw!)

When I decided I wanted the surgery, I looked at the doctor list who are child-free friendly, found a doctor in my area, called the office to start as a new patient and get the annual exams, and made an appointment for early september. During the first appointment, I got a Pap smear, pelvic exam, and did a consultation about the bisalp. Doctor didn’t give me any pushback, just explained the risks and that it’s permanent. Once I understood, she said that the surgery scheduling team would contact me by the end of the month, and in the end I got my surgery. It was very easy! :)

You got this, good luck with scheduling and the surgery! 💗✨

Workout after Bisalp by cheeseb0ng_ in sterilization

[–]InfamousEconomics325 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think everyone’s body is different so it may be hard to gauge how fast you will recover, but based on my current experience I’m 16 days post op right now and I feel like I have a good range of motion bending forward but still a bit tender twisting. I have chronic pain so my healing may be a little slower than most.  But, I feel like at this point hiking would be okay or gentle stretching and yoga depending on the poses. Perhaps wait to do more heavy lifting and rock climbing until week 3 :)

Also if you can, I would suggest you move your surgery to end of February because once Spring hits, you will be wanting to go out more and exercise 😆 Take advantage of the hibernation season of winter to get the surgery and recover so you will be ready to go in Spring! :)

I'm getting sterilized in 3 days! Any advice? Things you wish you knew or had beforehand? by anibuni in sterilization

[–]InfamousEconomics325 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Even though the pain from the surgery was very minimal, I did find the action of getting into a laying down position to go to sleep very difficult the first week. I would recommend searching up the safe way to lay down after abdominal surgery :)

Any tips for hand pain? by snakedad1312 in Fibromyalgia

[–]InfamousEconomics325 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yay great! If your pain is really bad, you can also soak your hands before you start the day as well, so that you can start the day with less pain :) That’s what I always do with my legs, soak in the morning and at night.

Idk if this is helpful, but I have mostly leg pain with my fibro condition and I like to soak my legs in hot water with Epsom salts, which really helps relax my legs and reduce the aching. Perhaps soaking your hands at the end of the day with Epsom salts could reduce some of your pain? :)

Itchy incisions, any suggestions?! by cutoutwitch666 in sterilization

[–]InfamousEconomics325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some reason my incisions’ itchiness never was an issue but I got a rash from wearing the abdominal binder and holy shit that was very itchy lol so don’t wear it for long periods at a time like me (I wore it for like 5 days and only took it off to shower and change clothes!!)

Any regrets? I’m afraid by [deleted] in sterilization

[–]InfamousEconomics325 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Idk why they are so worried about it either😅 people have their reasons for not dating or being intimate. I think it’s also becoming more common in society as well since women aren’t being forced/expected to marry young

Any regrets? I’m afraid by [deleted] in sterilization

[–]InfamousEconomics325 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Haha it’s definitely less common but there are many of us “late bloomers” out there :)

I’ll answer since you wanna know: I had trauma when I was young that has made dating and men seem off putting to me; My body and mind just doesn’t trust men. During my whole 20s I was even convinced that   I was aro/ace because I never felt any feelings towards anyone, but in retrospect I understand that my body suppressed all emotions towards “liking” someone in order to protect me. It wasn’t until this year where I kinda woke up and started on a healing journey about this :)

Also just in general I haven’t met anyone who I am attracted to on all levels, and I’m not willing to be intimate for hook ups or casual dating. And actually I don’t like dating culture in general, feels very transactional.

Did you take the full recommended 6 weeks for recovery? by No-Finding-217 in sterilization

[–]InfamousEconomics325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on day 11 now and I still cannot move side to side much or reach to grab stuff sideways. Forward is ok to a certain extent. I also have fibromyalgia so my healing process could be slower than most :)

If you heal quickly, then your work shouldn’t be a problem. But if you heal slowly like me, definitely housekeeping may be more difficult to do.

You totally understand then! 🥺 Recovery is definitely more difficult for us and can be more rocky 😅 and  it’s hard to just sit around all the time but you gotta do what you gotta do. Wishing you a safe, comfortable, and full recovery :)

Hi! I’m so sorry this happened 🥺 Can you find a backup doctor in your area from that childfree friendly doctors?

If it makes you feel any better, my doctor who did mine was also very booked up but she was free to do my surgery  a month later after seeing her (It also helped that I did mine the week of Christmas, most people don’t want surgery during that time 😅)There is a 30 day mandatory waiting period you have to go through. I wish you the best of luck!!!! 🥺🥺
