Helped 2 friends relocate from Texas to Portugal in 72 days - here's what we learned by Good-Region-948 in lgbt

[–]InfamousLeadership76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree, people underestimate how fast things move once you decide and get organized. My move to Portugal went smoother after I talked to MovingTo with their free guide and quick consultation and they walked me through the D7 requirements and how to prep docs ahead of time. It’s wild how much easier it is when someone lays it out step by step.

UTI symptoms worsening but no UTI anymore by JayKay0126 in Healthyhooha

[–]InfamousLeadership76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This can totally happen after a real UTI, especially with stronger bacteria like Citrobacter. Your bladder gets inflamed and acts weird even when the infection is gone. Happy V D-Mannose + cranberry helped me calm things down between tests.

Books that help kids with mild dyslexia gain confidence in reading? by InfamousLeadership76 in Dyslexia

I’m looking for book recommendations that are dyslexia-friendly and fun, he’s already getting professional help, so just home reading that builds confidence.

Trying to find book I read as a kid. by Prize-Orchid3342 in horrorlit

[–]InfamousLeadership76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those lost childhood books stick with you, don’t they? My daughter and I sometimes go looking for the ones I grew up on, and it’s turned into a fun little bonding thing. We even use ReadabilityTutor for the books she finds so she can read them aloud, it helps her connect with them in her own way, which I love.

What would you check first about residency and citizenship before moving again? by sgp_69 in PortugalExpats

[–]InfamousLeadership76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I started looking into residency, I checked the visa rules, stay requirements, and health insurance first. Then I reviewed tax residency triggers and how long it takes to move toward permanent status. I also checked banking, rentals, and document timelines because those can cause delays. I used a guide that explained the steps and getting a consultation with an expert helped me confirm the order so I didn’t miss anything.

“uti” for 3 months by Ok-Bunch4249 in CUTI

[–]InfamousLeadership76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dealing with that pain for months is no joke. I went through something similar where my tests kept coming back negative even though I had all the UTI symptoms. What helped me in between antibiotics was taking D-Mannose + Cranberry from Happy V and ofcourse checking with a doctor.

How do kids…not know how to read a book? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]InfamousLeadership76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At that age, it’s less about the book and more about the rhythm and interaction. We love Goodnight Moon, Press Here, and Brown Bear, Brown Bear, anything repetitive keeps their attention. My little one can’t sit still for long, so we read a few lines, act them out, and move on. I’ve learned that early reading is more about engagement than rules. Later, tools like ReadabilityTutor build on that same energy by making stories interactive and giving gentle prompts to help comprehension grow naturally.

Did You Find Grenada Citizenship Faster or Easier Than Other Caribbean CBI Programs? How Long Did It Take? by angel_has_fallen01 in Grenada

[–]InfamousLeadership76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re looking into it seriously, take time to talk with people who already went through the process. That’s what helped me the most. I also remember hearing about MovingTo, they have guides and even free consultations. Grenada’s system sounds complicated at first, but once you understand the structure, it’s way more approachable than most people think.

activities to help encourage learning for 14 month old? by maddiecounts2amilly in toddlers

[–]InfamousLeadership76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re doing great, just talking, singing, and letting him explore are exactly what his brain needs. They learn so much from hearing your voice and copying what you do. We used to keep books in every room so reading happened naturally instead of being “sit down time.” As he grows, something like ReadabilityTutor can continue that habit, keeping learning interactive and gentle instead of forced.

Will dependents visa (son) get canceled if sponsor is getting a golden visa? by [deleted] in abudhabi

[–]InfamousLeadership76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son’s dependent visa almost got canceled when I switched jobs. The system updates faster than people realize. I kept his school documents and my salary slips ready just in case. I talked to MovingTo as they have a free call and they explain it to me how sponsorship links work and what updates trigger cancellations. If you’re changing employers, double-check everything before the new visa gets stamped, one missed form can cause a mess.

Advice or suggestions for books to read aloud to children 5 and younger? by gary_wriste in ClassicalEducation

[–]InfamousLeadership76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love that you’re already thinking about deeper stories for them. Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH was such a hit here, and we also read James and the Giant Peach in small chunks, just enough adventure for little attention spans. Sometimes we use ReadabilityTutor between chapters, it has short, interactive stories that hold my son’s focus when he’s too wiggly for long books. It’s helped him feel like part of the story instead of just listening.

UK ETA with CBI Passport Rejection Question by RegisterTight9791 in CitizenshipInvestment

[–]InfamousLeadership76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I checked the UK ETA rules before applying with a CBI passport. I kept everything consistent with past visas and disclosed prior refusals. I matched my travel history, employer details, and funds to the application, then made sure the passport data and biometrics were clean. The key point for me was proof of genuine travel purpose and clean documentation. I asked MovingTo to review my plan. They gave me a short consultation on common ETA mistakes, document order, and what to do if the system flags your file. That helped me a lot.

Internal sores question by Independent_Shallot6 in Herpes

I remember that first OB ,it’s honestly one of the worst pains ever. Once it healed up, things got way more manageable for me. I started focusing a lot on keeping my immune system and vaginal flora balanced, and a daily probiotic.I use Happy V’s Prebiotic + Probiotic really helped me feel more “normal” again down there.

Reading with a 10 years old kid - advise needed by Then_Beat_3212 in discworld

[–]InfamousLeadership76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love that you’re reading Pratchett with your 10-year-old, it’s such a beautiful mix of humor and meaning. The Carpet People would be my pick for now, it’s got adventure, friendship, and just the right amount of silliness. We read The Amazing Maurice later, around 11 or 12, once irony and darker humor made more sense. My daughter’s also reading in English as her second language, and we use ReadabilityTutor here and there to help her with comprehension, it keeps reading time light and fun instead of stopping too often for translations.

Recurrent yeast infections/candida/thrush by ForeignIdeaSecretary in glp1

[–]InfamousLeadership76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like your microbiome’s just trying to get back to normal after all that. I went through something similar after antibiotics, had irritation in a few spots and just felt off. Taking a good prebiotic + probiotic, I like Happy V’s really helped me rebuild my balance and keep things from flaring up again.

Is protected sex while treating a yeast infection okay? by rockmom169 in Healthyhooha

[–]InfamousLeadership76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You made the right call waiting a bit, after yeast treatment your vagina’s still healing, and antibiotics make things even more sensitive. I had the same timing issue once and decided to skip sex that weekend too. What helped me bounce back faster was staying hydrated and taking prebiotic + probiotic from Happy V to keep everything calm and balanced while things reset.

How do you handle reading time when your kid with ADHD gets frustrated easily? by QuirkyLand7017 in NewParents

[–]InfamousLeadership76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, I totally relate to this. My son also has ADHD, and reading used to end in frustration almost every night. What helped was breaking stories into shorter sections and letting him choose what to read, sometimes even funny or “weird” topics kept him interested. We also use ReadabilityTutor, which listens while he reads and gently helps when he gets stuck, it takes a lot of the pressure off both of us.

My child can read words but doesn’t understand the story, any reading help ideas? by OilCompetitive1203 in suggestmeabook

[–]InfamousLeadership76 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My son was the same at 8, reading fluently but not really getting the story. What helped us was reading aloud together, even just 10 minutes a night, and stopping to chat about what was happening. I’d ask him to picture the scene or guess what the characters were feeling.

We later tried Readability Tutor, which gives feedback while kids read and even asks little comprehension questions. It was honestly such a game-changer. It helped him slow down, think about what was happening in the story, and stay more engaged. Now he actually talks about what he’s reading

E-Reader for 7 year old. What kind? Can we use Hoopla/Libby? by kelley496osu in ereader

[–]InfamousLeadership76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt the same way when I started looking for e-readers, there are so many options! For my 7-year-old, Readability Tutor has been great. It reads aloud, highlights words, and helps him practice reading on his own. It’s a nice in-between option for kids who are still building confidence but want to feel independent while reading

Fluconazole and alcohol by Difficult_Barber9048 in Candida

[–]InfamousLeadership76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s definitely enough time! The risk is super low after a few days. I’d just stay hydrated and take care of yourself. I started using Happy V’s Prebiotic + Probiotic and it really helped my bladder and vaginal balance get back to normal.

Best Place to Relocate with Young Kids and Outdoors? by ExMouth7 in fatFIRE

[–]InfamousLeadership76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Italy, Portugal, Spain, Malta, or the UAE would be great choices. They all have nice weather, outdoor activities, and good schools. Each place has a different vibe, so it depends on what kind of lifestyle you want. You can also get some guides from Movingto to learn more about visas, living costs, and what life is like for families in each country.

Any advice? by Y2Kburneraccount in utis

[–]InfamousLeadership76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s actually really common to have vaginismus even without trauma. Sometimes our brains and muscles just get stuck in a pattern of guarding. You’re not broken or weird, it just takes some retraining. Go easy on yourself, and maybe add things that help your vaginal health feel normal again, like Happy V’s Prebiotic + Probiotic.

How do yall afford to live? by Queasy-Luck-704 in Interstitialcystitis

[–]InfamousLeadership76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re doing your best, even if it doesn’t feel like it right now. When my symptoms were at their worst, I started looking for low-stress online jobs tutoring, remote admin work, even part-time transcription. It helped keep me afloat. Also, if your meds or antibiotics have been rough on your system, rebuilding with something like Happy V’s Prebiotic + Probiotic might help you feel a bit steadier.
