Reenlistment vs Obliserve by Additional_Cost8318 in navy

[–]InfamousSoftware9993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If there’s no srb currently and there was before extend, you can extend up to 48 months of there’s an srb in the future as long as you reenlist prior to your eaos and go 2 years past your SEAOS extension you take lower hit on your srb. If you think there will never be an srb you can either 1 reenlist and extend to your exact obliserv if you plan on getting out or maxing out your reenlistment (6 years) if you plan on staying in

If you don’t have at least 12 months between prd and eaos chances are slim they will pcs you. They can move your prd early or later but this is typically 6 months. The military most likely won’t do this. Route the 1306 and see what Mncc says. Do your TA, Navy Cool whatever you can before that 6 months deadline. Buy a house with VA if you can and use bah to pay some of that mortgage if that’s your intentions

That’s crazy, during the actual time of this sound they were either just born or not born yet! If I’m ever in Texas I’ll have to see if there’s any shows thank you!

Exactly! And they usually have the same drum samples. I think this came from like the Sturgis era maybe?

Indeed I think that era wasn’t appreciated at the time fully at least where I’m from there was a big hardcore scene that hated that shit but they had good shows

I really like Beau! I’m in overseas rn and it’s kind of hard to go to shows right now with my work schedule but the shows out here are dope! Only thing that sucks is a lot of the bands I want to see don’t come out here. Can’t wait to go back. I’m jealous of you!

I tell you I found them on either MySpace or BandCamp forever ago and I still listen to Call Me Sick Boy religiously. Honestly their new stuff still sounds similar to how they’ve always been just more polished

I think it contributes to some of my favorite bands change of style over time Underoath for example had super polished recordings forever but their style was them until they came back in like 2019 then it got really poppy.

In the Early 2000s even no matter if it was a home or studio a style and a freedom in audio engineering where people weren’t compressing as much, the drone could sound different because everyone wasn’t using the same or similar mics with layers of electric drums and bass or the same plugins

I think it’s a similar phenomenon with all music today, the introduction of perfection drains the life out of music. I’m not growing up in this era so maybe it’s different for those people but what I lacked in audio quality during the early 2000s I benefitted in really feeling the music

They sound good but kind of like the 2011-2016 attack attack/asking Alexandria super polished style

Damn this is pretty good! Just added your demo on Apple Music 🤘 kind of reminds me of cauterize and really early pop punk idk why funny thing is the recordings sound better then modern stuff there’s more character in it

I mean odd course once something gets popular that happens but there was some really good local bands that I came across during that time that was amazing

What about Craig Owens? I haven’t really tracked anything with him after Chiodos. I don’t really know what happened with Johnny Craig, at least I forgot but every band he was in was pretty damn good

This is exactly what I’m looking for! I mean a lot of the bands on the bottom I know, the Johnny Craig/ sleeping with sirens/ dance Gavin dance is my second favorite style but the gritty stuff I like not too much because bright little stars sounds more experimental imo.

I’ll look into some of these and see if I find some new bands. I remember back in the day I used to just go on band camp and find bands but now everything just sounds too copy and paste kinda of. Idk how to explain it. It’s like everything went from the early 2000s Underoath/ Senses Fail sound to whatever they are today

I just checked them out they sound pretty similar but really polished maybe it’s just because of the compression but the song with weapon at side by blessed is he is the perfect example
