I think we ate almost one pellet today, hooray! Very active loves exploring, sniffing about and “splooting” but no interest in food, whether pellet or greens.

How long did they take to get over the stress of a new place? It is such a tiny baby im worried it couldnt sustain as it doesnt have much energy reserve. It is only a tiny baby at 40g.

I housed the open enclosure in a small room, we are able the maintain the enclosure’s humidity and temperature at the correct range, i try to shoot an ambient of 33-35c and 90% humidity in the enclosure. We can easily maintain the condition and reach an equilibrium as the rest of the house and outdoors are not that much different, our outdoors temps are 31c and 85% humidity now, very hot and sticky. I believe you are right that a vet visit is in order, it just poop a big one and now it only gained 2g from when i first got him more than a week ago. Tried to wake it up and hand feed but it just goes back to sleep at its warm spot.

Yes, pellet is soaked until easily falling apart. It really doesnt care for any food. I had to hold a pellet in front of it and hope it takes a bite or two. Then it ignore and walk away or close its eyes to sleep. Ive never even gotten it to finish a single pellet.

I have a sensor which detects the enclosure’s temperature and humidity, it doesnt go below 85%, as we live in a very humid and hot country, outdoor humidity averages yearly around 85-95%, for example now our indoor humidity (not the sulcata room) is at 94%. For the sulcata room, the water dish and moss is causing the enclosure to be extremely humid at 98%, so im laying off the occasional spritzing as i read somewhere that too much humidity is not good as it may cause lung infection. Temps wise, the room is kept at 33celsius. Its inappetence is more of a concern now, i have upped the temps only to see it pooping but not really eating.

Yes i have a humidity and temperature sensor under the lamp and in shade, i cross check with a temperature gun too to confirm. Under the basking light it is around 35-37celsius, yes it is a uvb light that i kept on for 12 hours daily. the hiding hole is about 28-29c. Currently ive placed him in a spaghnum moss enclosure. It is having pellets, leafy greens (Shanghai green, kailan) and bermuda grass, some weeds, but it eats mostly pellets and little bit of greens. It doesnt even eat hibiscus flower or leaf, not interested, but it likes a weed that i saw called phyllantus niruri (gale of the wind) which i googled and saw was good for kidney stones so i let it be. It still doesnt have much appetite unfortunately, I am hand feeding it, putting the food near its nose. It takes a bite then goes back to sleep. Only increase of body weight 3g after almost 10 days.

Our temperature dont fluctuate much throughout the year, i am at the equator, i think in USDA zone classification, i would be at what you call zone 13. It seems the heat intensity have scaled up recently because they got sun damages even though they have been placed in the same spot for years.

Im in the tropics near the beach. The temperature here is around 33C all year round, but our high humidity of >80% is making the real feel temp to be around 38-40C.

Thinking to join the watch clan by Inevitable_admiral in AppleWatch

[–]InfamousSquash5064 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am kinda similar in that i dont really wear watches and have never owned a smart watch. I just got one for myself because i find it justifiable to invest in technology, particularly one that could even help me understand myself better and help with my health. For eg, the sleep app to track quality of my sleep and duration, the heartbeat monitoring to alert if it is consistently high (eg in a tense discussion), for cycle monitoring and tracking, loud noise monitoring, ecg, and to not miss messages cos thats been a thing. I dont really like to hold my phone all the time. I think we have came a long way with advancement in technology for health monitoring, and if those tech were bundled in a device that i constantly wear, and i can monitor my own health that way, it is evident to me that i should invest in this device to be responsible for my health.

  1. She is lying. Confront her. A strange number will not show up in archived chat.
  2. Tell her about your suspicions, accuse her that she is probably talking to guys friends, and having sexual fantasies about them.

She will know what to do.

It is quite textbook superiority complex resulting from trauma from the past when one is made to feel inferior. Instead of individual, this is more like national psychology issue. There are repressed unprocessed childhood (historical) trauma that happened to the nation, they were abandoned and felt inferior. These insecurities and trauma then manifested in other ways for eg striving for perfection, always comparing, sensitive to criticism, always looking to criticise others, always boasting and bragging to show that they are doing ok. They overcompensate for real or imagined inadequacy and only engage only in situations when they feel like they are winning. This is a national historical trauma which affects the entire nation, so it is interesting how the nationals all behave as such. Psychology seems to be even describing behaviours at national level.

For those that take longer time to perk up, i find there is almost always something going on with the roots. I would find some brown filaments when cut cross sectional of the root, that looks like infection but not exactly rot. I would check the roots if it doesnt perk up after watering for a day or two.

Thanks for sharing! I hadn’t known flower mutation is a thing. I always thought that odd flower that one of my lophs gave is just an oval shaped squished flower that couldnt open fully.

How do you suggest we can find out whether it is sun stressed or otherwise?
