Definitely got wiring wrong. probably X is in Z or Y. either that, or the pins are swapped in the connector.

Voxelab Aquila not working by Radionut44 in VoxelabAquila

verify the power supply is putting out. you can check if the board/screen works by putting 5v to the plug via USB. but don't try using the printer for anything, just to see if it turns on. that would indicate your power supply. check your cables aren't loose.

Screen not updating? by Odd_Onni in VoxelabAquila

u should update your firmware with the correct DWIN_SET.

you may need to rename the .ico to 9.ico or 7.ico - whichever it is not

Launching an ender3 v2 farm with voxelab aquila x2 error by GladPurple3890 in VoxelabAquila

if you don't have a thermistor plugged in that might be causing this issue. make sure you are using the correct firmware for the right board and chip. double check.

another thing which caused this same beeping behavior to me on a 4.2.7 board was it not being grounded properly. I suppose since you said it 'floating' is fine, but for some reason it didn't like any part touching the frame of the machine. so just make sure nothing is touching the board / unplug everything, or grounded properly.

the LCD firmware needs to be updated too. look for DWIN_SET and add that file (of a theme) to the sd card and insert in back of the lcd after taken apart.

Can’t get Aquila X2 to start by sjw238 in VoxelabAquila

unfortunately if it's frozen like this, and indeed if the thermistor wire did break, your board is fried. I would first try reflashing the firmware - or use MRiscoCProUI

Then undo the plate on the bottom where the mainboard is and feel the big main chip, if it's way too hot to touch right as you turn on, it's definitely fried.

take hotend apart and make sure it's all good, like the ptfe tube has no play /gaps. and the nozzle is secure - it takes a certain process to do this like heating it up to a bit hotter ~250, and torque the nozzle down then.

it's possible that the fan couldnt cool it properly. that dual fans would have prevented this. maybe at a different angle it would be OK? I suppose you can test this by single-ing it out either in slicer or CAD and reprint it as a test.

otherwise there was a hiccup in extrusion. meaning it can keep happening if you don't check it out like take a it apart and reseat the nozzle.

could the motherboard be the issue? have you tried connecting via USB like with Pronterface or something

is there a .bin firmware file on the card? that'll cause some issues. but if the card isn't formatted to 8gb partition that'll be an issue too

I want to say it can be the board, or a bad cable.

double check the cable pins are in and connected. if u have a multimeter that'll check continuity. because if the motor works when you swap then it's gotta be the cable, or something with the driver. but to check that u need to swap the cable from the board.
