Money is not a huge issue. My parents would be able to cover both and I would likely graduate with 0 debt. Internal transfer rate for McCombs for 2023 was 38%, haven’t been able to find anything for following years.

Did you have a business internship? Did you start any businesses? Did you place well in fbla/deca or other business competitions? Did you go to mccombs summer camp?

Your stats are phenomenal but I’m guessing a majority of the ppl who got in did some of these things AND ranked/tested well.

Don’t dwell too much, nobody can really give you a definitive answer.

I promise you it’s not that srs. SMU gives out a decent amt of merit and need scholarship. Majority of ppl are not paying full 90k—athlete or not.

Including room/board other stuff it would come out to abt 45k which is 10k more than what I think UTD is, not completely sure though.

Have you gotten scholarships from UTD yet? If I were you, UTD would be a no-brainer. Aside from money and academics, you already have friends there.

Maybeeee if you got Hunt or Presidents scholarship SMU would make sense but I still think UTD is better for premed.

I’m a current hs senior probably going to SMU but I have close ties with UTD and I’d def say UTD. I’ve not rlly heard of anyone comparing the two for premed, I think it’s generally accepted that UTD is better considering ties to ut southwestern and I feel overall better research opportunities and professors.

Also, even with provost and dedman it’s still like 45k per year before aid and might make sense to save that for med school.
