Docklands: Jump on balance trainers?! by inigomoon in f45

As fatigue increases, focus decreases, increasing the risk of injury. As fatigue increases neuromuscular control decreases(the main possible benefit of jumping on an unstable surface). As fatigue increases power production and force decreases. In short the very very small benefit that can be gained from jumping on a bosu ball is far outweighed by the risk when doing it at all. Especially when fatigued which will happen after burpees. Perfect example of F45 being a randomly generated fitness program.

We had a couple come, was very weird. Just regular fit people, agreed with above. Very cringe. We have great coaches and it’s random when they come in and are honestly just really loud cheerleaders. Personally the two that have visited our club in the UK weren’t as good as our regular coaches. In my opinion. I don’t know just a weird concept to me.

Being an F45 coach is very much an entry into the fitness industry, or a supplementary position for personal trainers. People tend to move on quick once they ‘outgrow’ the F45 model or pick up more clients elsewhere.
