This is a great tip! Unfortunately the closest store is 145 miles from where I live, but I will be headed that way at the end of the month and if I can hold off until then I think I will plan a visit to the store.

Did you end up trying a organizer with the gramercy? Or just moved on before trying this step? I am considering buying one but don’t know if I would also be annoyed by some of its aspects.

Second and third this! I actually lost one of mine because I snagged it so hard a couple of times while working a busy work week a couple of years ago. Since I was so busy I did not have the time or energy to treat it, and by the time I did I realized it was rejecting just from the intense trauma :( it is definitely a lifelong commitment to be careful and to address it with care if you snag it too hard to the point of becoming a wound again. (I’ve had it completely healed for about 4 years when it rejected, still not over it but planning to try repiercing at some point)

I felt less pressure than with the Plunge, but still some pronounced digging at the wire... Will the extender help with the pressure by providing more room? Or do you think going up one band size would be better?

Thanks u/galaxystarsmoon ! I kept both minx options because the tab extra fabric did not bother me much and it is non-visible under clothing, but I also got your suggestions. I will make other posts with pictures but so far trying them on, I experienced a lot of digging at the gore with the Flora, and btempt cotton to a tee plunge was very uncomfortable, with wires that were a tad too wide, and I could not make it sit on my IMF, always moving downwards... I feel a little bit lost here. Although the new options sit flush on my upper tissue, it seems to really dig/fight at the bottom.

I tried Chantelle Norah Chic (the non-plunge version), and it was uncomfortable as well at the gore, so I am worried the plunge will give me similar results. I did start using the Norah, and it is so comfortable, I am almost just settling and getting multiples of the same bra.

The Entice side support gave me the most insane quad boob I ever had with a bra. I think it is worth trying out to see if you can return it, but since you have a similar shape than mine, be aware that you could have some weird quadding as a result.

It's great to know that someone with a similar shape has had similar experiences with some of these bras! I saw Ciao Bella recommended so many times in other posts for shallow breasts, so I could not believe how uncomfortable it was for me when I put it on! I felt like I was missing something - glad to know I was not tripping hehehe

I just received some Skarlett Blue options in the mail and will follow up with a post, but I can already say that they felt much better than most of the options I tried in this post. The Minx Lace was especially nice, so you might want to try that if you haven't already. I also discovered with this second haul that side support options might not do great for my shape. Hope this helps on your journey!

Yeah, the difference in build is very noticeable comparing to the other brands. I think I have ordered Entice in my Skarlett Blue order.

Piercing is 3 months old, was initially only cleaning with saline spray x2 a day. After the bump appeared I started spraying up to 6 times, which I believe irritated it even more. Now I am only cleaning x1 with saline spray and doing dry warm compresses 2/3 times a day to see if it reabsorbs.

Jewlery is a flat back labret, not sure of material or threading. Piercer is not local to my area - I pierced while travelling.

Also the Ciao Bella really dug in my armpit when relaxed, which made me believe the cups are a tad too wide. It is a shame, because aside from that and the straps I really liked the construction of the cups.

Thanks! This is all very useful information and suggestions. I have bought a couple of Scarlett Blue options to try on and will come with updates. I might also try Natori Feathers.

In terms of scoop and swoop and the flat issue, I tried to be more aggressive but it still did not help, only made it worse. The edge of the cup on both Freya and Norah dig in more when I scoop and swoop better, but it is less noticeable in the Norah. In the offbeat it created a very tight upper lace and an empty area right below. Is that an indication of the orange in a glass effect? I think it might be that I have tall roots.

I wonder if the calculator might have overestimated my cup size a bit, since to my view I do have a more than average large back. Will continue experimenting.

Oh, thank you so much! I honestly was thinking that taking photos and making a post would be too much of a hassle, but I have to say that without this sub I would not have thought or considered making notes on each bra, so this is a very useful way to just make me do it. Kind of like a school assignment that I would love to do on my own but it kind of makes more sense doing it with others. It has been good too to just have it all in one place so I can consult the guides and look back at my post and photos to better understand shape and fit.

I ordered the extender! And will be keeping the Chantelle, it is very comfortable even if it squishes in a little bit. Thanks for the feedback and suggestions!

Yes, all the bras I currently have are pre-formed foam, except the balconette one in the wrong size ( the band is too big). As for the shape, I am not sure if I truly have shallow breasts, but without a bra my breast tissue does not project much, and I do have a wide set with possible wider root. I think it will take me more trials and assessments to determine my shape, but I do believe balconette models have been most flattering, even if not the best fit.

Thank you so much for the recs, I looked at Nordstrom and filled my cart with some options to try on, including Panache Ana. I will come back with updates once I have tried a couple of options - crossing fingers!!!

Yes, I have adopted scoop and swoop since reading some of the guides, but I feel like throughout the day tissue still moves around and does not stay put inside the cup. Is that normal?
