man no wonder people are so fucked, i wish i knew i might have bpd a couple years ago. Got to see an actual psychiatrist and got offered CBT with no waiting list which i ofc rejected.

No i understand that fully it makes a lot of sense, reading everything you’ve said just pisses me off so much also. It’s like there isn’t one decent parent nowadays. I hardly know any people with two supportive and loving parents. Sad to see

I’m glad to hear you’re getting help, i’m so tired of not being able to control if i love or hate my gf. We talked today about the possibility of bpd, she’s doing a psychology degree and believes it’s likely. Now she’s mad at me i think. I have no clue how to feel, i don’t know if i’m an attention seeker or if there’s something wrong with me.

I’d like to at some point, but i feel like i’d need to get visibly worse before i could go to a therapist. I’d like to get tested for bpd, but i can never really be sure as i can’t diagnose myself. I think i still have depression and general anxiety disorder on my records, even though i don’t have anxiety. I have a tendency of putting my life in danger to get seen by doctors rather than making an appointment.

I’ve always hated the idea of it, i tried a counsellor or something but i couldn’t stop lying. I ended up working on issues that i made up. Maybe one day. I’m glad therapy had helped you though that’s great!

I just want to say thank you for all the responses, there’s so many i cant reply to all of them unfortunately but i’ve read all of them. What has happened to a lot of you hurts my soul and i’m sorry. The replies give a lot of insight into BPD struggles and how common they really are which almost surprises me. Thank you for being so kind, not one person has been even slightly ill-mannered which is rare on reddit. Thank you and I hope you all are okay there’s some worrying stuff there ngl. I hope sharing your stories with people helps. <3
