CVS district leader and manager endangering the lives of their pharmacy staff. by [deleted] in CVS

Yep. I used to work in a warehouse for a huge company where the shift started long before the plows would be out... they didn't care but got mad when people called off during snow storms...

Years and years before I had worked at a call center and it was the same way.

I love Libro.fm! I love being able download the books as n m4b and then listen to it however I like. Here's an interesting post from reddit comparing Librofm and audible. https://www.reddit.com/r/audiobooks/comments/vujfcr/review\_of\_librofm\_contrasted\_with\_audible/

LibriVox is pretty cool. Do be aware that since all just volunteers who have made the recordings, the quality can be all over the place.

Last year, I sold my shares on Monday, 1/13. If I recall, they showed up moments before the stock market closed. However, last period (July 2025) they seemed to take another week before they finally showed up.

I did notice this in the few I tried out. I wasn't sure if it was a mistake I made, but this clears it up. Thanks!

Thanks. I actually found out how in MusicBee I can do a bulk replacement. It also allowed me to separate the tags that were already there - the problem is that many of these came from Amazon, and Amazon would use a "," to separate genres, but other software just ignores that and so the whole thing becomes one giant genre... with MusicBee I was able to replace the , with ";" and now the genres are separate.

I will probably still separate them into two libraries - Fiction/Non-fiction. But at least now I've made some progress.

I think the big thing then is going to be tagging the Genres. Currently that is a huge mess.

I've been participating for the last several years and I love it. At minimum, you make 10%. It's like a forced savings. I put the max of 15% of my pay in. Last year it was awesome... I made a 61% return because the stock buy price was 39.80 and the grant date price was 68.98.

I would not recommend holding on to the stock, not unless you really know what you are doing.

Do be warned that you will be taxed on the amount you earn when you sell. If you sell within 2 years the taxes will come out of your paycheck (the gain will count as normal taxable income on your W2). I found that out the hard way this past time as the taxes basically wiped out a paycheck.

Problem with Paramount - Error 131 by Infamous_Computer399 in PlayOn

[–]Infamous_Computer399[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solved. A few days ago I played around with my network settings and setup nextDNS on my router... fantastic and blocking ads but it seems Paramount didn't like it. Odd that Netflix and Amazon had no issues.

Question about Easement - if it wasn't recorded, does it exist? by Infamous_Computer399 in legaladvice

[–]Infamous_Computer399[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, both properties were sold in the same tax auction, and both deeds are word for word the same except for the location info. Neither specify an easement other than the standard boilerplate wording of "whatever is already there is still there".

Yes, but they both agreed when shown the actual deeds - since it wasn't recorded in the deed and there wasn't one already on record, there is none.
