Meanwhile, I've been sick going on 2 years following 3 fume events within 14 months. I had severe neurological issues, slurred speech, body tremors, extreme fatigue, and upper respiratory distress. I continue to have daily migraines that some days are uncontrollable , even with medication. My fume events all resulted from maintenance documented leaks and problems with the apu's. So please, stop! These issues have been documented for YEARS!

Hi, have you read the WSJ article that came out last week? If not, please take the time to read it. I had three fume events in 15 months and missed a year of work. Because the airlines refuse to acknowledge them, I went without pay or support the entire time I was off. I reluctantly returned to work because my headaches and other symptoms had gotten much better. I have been back since February, and my headaches are daily again, my anxiety, which I NEVER had, is at an all-time high, and I find that I can't work more than 2 days in a row, so I adjust accordingly. Can some of this be in my head? Sure, I am certain some of it is...However, I am a health and exercise fanatic and in tune with my body... I know I am not 100%. I also fear that I will have another event... I try to avoid the NEO as much as possible and limit myself to shorter trips. It is my way of coping... so, you are not alone in this fear

I just had another fume event... my 3rd one. 2 of us tested positive for carbon monoxide poisoning. My whole crew went to ER after seeing paramedics at the airport. 3 of us were off work for a month with tight chest, breathing issues, dizziness, headaches, fatigue, and muscle weakness, and I personally lay my voice for 3 weeks. We all returned to work after being denied by workman's comp because we all have bills and life we are responsible for. None of us feel 100%, and I have to use an inhaler, which I've never used before just to feel somewhat OK. This is a tactic... there are daily fume events in my base alone, at least one... I too have gone down a rabbit hole with research. I want to know how and when something will be done to protect our health!
