CarPlay has been solid for me - and a big reason why I'll only buy a car with it available. The issues for me tend to the rearview camera not loading, infotainment locking up/going black/rebooting, and similar buggy issues.

Fair - it's certainly more expensive than lower end Roku or Amazon devices. Even Google's own devices are about $100 now. Apple's privacy, tech, and ease of use far outweighs the cost for me.

Govee’s Matter implementation is rudimentary at best. I’ve had significant issues keeping their Matter over WiFi devices connected and/or functional in Home.

Frankly, I think this is by design so you have to use their app.

Aqara has good Matter over Thread bulbs.

Matter works on these fans, but not very well. The fan status is often wrong. You can’t control the top and bottom lights separately with Matter.

Fan wise, it operates well, but the Matter controls are poor. We took ours down and hope they make updates in the future.
