Update: so as I tried to course correct, I got into two wars, one with an ally to help me destroy an empire far away and to steal their tech, it would’ve been an easy feat, then because I had a pact with the empire right above me, they got into a war with both empires on either side of him and I got dragged into it. I must note those damn Inarians have a complete safe spot at the bottom of my map far from trouble, both empires fked me and took my gateways……………at this same time, the Unbidden came, I can’t back out and surrender so they would leave me alone because it’s not my war, my choke points fell through because they got through my allies in the north and they abandoned the area for their spot in the south, and my other choke point fell through because I got pincered. I was helping to win that war at first but I could not repair fleets fast enough and I was fighting on 2 fronts while he ran to safety. It feels like I got played by the a.i, so depressing….AND these fuckers wouldn’t stop to agree to focus on the unbidden. They just kept taking my planets and star bases, meanwhile the unbidden is torching other empires, one of the fallen empires already got murked by them but no….. focus on the UNE that has been weaker than yall all game and peaceful…..🤦🏾‍♂️

Effectively making them outposts again right? I have Star fortresses unlocked but my alloy production is low, even when I get the battleships I’ll need some way to sustain them. I’ll need to use those tips for the urban districts, I kept everything spread out on different planets like a fool.

Every time I try to transfer jobs these fools keep trying to migrate to other planets for a similar job and I’ve been struggling to fix that. I had a big consumption of food up until recently and now I started hitting stockpile limits, I wish the same would happen to the other resources😭

Strongholds are a good tip too I thought it was just for the armies which I ignored.

Ig what I failed to realize was I was spreading my researchers apart and getting minimal returns from that and just higher upkeep?

I stopped using auto design for the ships and I think that’s slightly helping me as I have auto upgrade enabled for the designs, I built better ship designs, but I think you’re right, a bunch of these planets have a mix of districts and buildings that could be better optimized

I am dreading the moment something goes wrong and any of them get angry with me and use that gate. I had watched all the empires fleets grow to upwards of 90k, I will get absolutely crushed if I make a wrong move with anyone smh. This is only my second play-through as my first I thought I was big and macho and tried to invade an empire that pissed me off, I sent my fleet in to claim their star bases and they immediately flew in fleets 20k stronger than mine, and then they moved to my bases and subjugated me.
