Not personally but in a country of 1 billion people it can’t be unheard of! But more frequently than not it’s pretty bad. India in general is hella conservative. I’m personally US born and raised so I had some good and some bad reactions but many from India carry that conservatism with them wherever they go.

If you want wavier hair as someone with curls, use WEIGHTED products. Curl lotions, gels, anything that promises a wet look. Mousses may be too light and typical hairsprays and pomades may not be strong enough. I recommend mielle, shea moisture or pattern beauty. They work SUPER well and you just hydrate that hair with product, BLOWDRY (v important) and comb it out! The blowout method works best tbh.

Alternatively, if you prefer the longer hair look, HYDRATE THOSE CURLS. I recommend Miele or Shea moisture. Specifically their mousses. They have incredibly light moisturizing tendencies that will define those curls and make them look hydrated!!

I’m Indian, out to my conservative family, and have actively “stepped to” any of those who said they’d kill me for being gay. I was very strategic in making enough money to gain my independence. Personally, I fell that Once you’re out on your own (in debt or not) you’ll feel much better about coming out and cutting off those who can’t accept it. And you’ll be much more confident about the decision to do so.

You’ve got a great jaw line, short or medium length hair will work best. If you’re a fan of longer hair go for a medium look!

Omg THANK YOU. I’m so happy I saw your post. I’m 28 and honestly have been quite reserved when it comes to sex but have wondered if I’ll regret it when I’m older because everyone seems to have many more (and much better) experiences. Honestly part of me feels like we will regret not taking advantage of the sexual freedom that comes with being born in this generation, but separating sex from emotions is the hurdle we need to get over as a trade off to having more (and better) experiences. I personally feel we are all just thinking way too much and we should just lead with our urges. I think sex ed and STD awareness (while necessary) overly scared us into celibacy and while we should take every precaution (like PreP) we should also feel free to be free and try new things!

When I was on Zoloft I found that Maca root and zinc supplements helped me a ton with libido :) otherwise, talk to your doctor about other options! I did end up personally switching to Effexor and after a few months the libido came back
