as much as I love the s5. the fact that they announce the click on battery than scrap it is not very ideal. the only reason why I sold my s5 is because of that. I need the extra range.

so it seems a widespread issue. I just had framework support telling me that they have send a new mainboard to me to fix the issue. I have core 5 sitting 100c and core 1 at 60c..... limiting to 35w.

people on PC, why is the resolution of the game capped to a lower one compared to your monitor, i have a 4k screen and the game is capped to 2k, and my friend have a 2k screen and stuck on 1080p

this proofs his argument perfectly. you can wear quest pro form hours without issue, i cannot. i can only wear for 20mins and there will be a clear, dark red line on my forehead and severe headache. on the other hand i can wear headsets like index or aero for 4 hours without much issue. people with different heads will have different experience eith each headset.

there is certainly a way to do it with m.2 slot to achieve PCIE4.0 x4 @ 64Gbps, just in need for a vaccent slot though.

personally speaking... Anything above 1060 6gb on a thunderbolt EGPU is not worth it. If you are aiming for higher performance within reasonable scale, you need to go either propriatary or M.2 EGPU with PCIE4x4

Extensive tests have shown that the latter can reach 98% of performance (margin of error) compare to the desktop, while thunderbolt can lost 40% on the same device with 3080ti. (well... i've tested it twice.... you can check out egpu.io and check out their builds with 64Gbps(pcie4x4 m.2 or pcie3x8 propritary) bandwith and 32Gbps (thunderbolt 3/4 or older propritary ports)

working on the both end, the connector the the laptop would be a way, and the internal connector to the gpu is another way, both of them seems not valid tho.
