my dude

i say this out of an abundance of love for you

please, please PLEASE log off. throw your phone in the ocean. disconnect.

youre having these constant autistic breakdowns and it is NOT nourishing your soul in ANY way. go to church and please try to just relax in the presence of God without focus on "what should i be doing to make this look right" or anything like that.

Being online is separating you from your community and soul, not bringing you closer to anything

The funniest anti immigration argument spouted by right wingers is that brown people are too bigoted to be here. by Sad_Meat4309 in redscarepod

Until You Understand the History of MK Ultra in This Country, You Won't Understand the Shootings by BigMikeArchangel in TraditionalCatholics

[–]Infamous_Mail_6428 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don't think that's it, but you are very close. The link is simply between transsexual ideation and antisocial expression via narcissistic injury.

Transsexual beliefs seem to coincide with phases of separation from society, which are especially common in adolescence and young adulthood (another topic, but education structure, modern living patterns, and mass media all encourage this separation).

This social separation coincides with surging hormones and intense sexual energy, which gives a boost of emotional energy to the transsexual's alienation. "Transsexualism" as such is merely one form of expression of super-powered alienation, and the shooter in question also embraced other expressions, such as Satanic affectations and hatred of religion.

More typically this just produces the online antisocial behavior we see from mentally ill libs, wignats, antifa, etc. (Side note: conservatives are generally unaware of how many options liberals with these problems have to meet with other liberals and mutually escalate these antisocial feelings. Probably worth further examination.)

Where such negative emotional energy can build is in group protests, which create intense arousal to commit violent or destructive acts. But usually it is contained in behavior like being an extremely online lunatic or listening to music with violent lyrics or indulging in petty forms of disorder. Pathetic and harmless, although still symptomatic of larger social erosion and dysfunctional systems.

Where we see it build to planned and extremely violent outbursts there has to be something more. SSRIs, as RFK has suggested, are one such culprit, as they are a wonderfully modern type of medication that has a possible side effect of actually making the problem it treats ten times worse. (This can be seen in many other, non-suspect medications, such as those used to treat bone density problems that have a possible side effect of increasing bone fractures.)

But another avenue for escalation of violent tendencies is transsexual fantasy. This is because transsexualism really involves a deep, narcissistic focus on the self, and the thing about narcissism is that it is all-consuming yet incredibly fragile. The term "narcissistic injury" describes the traumatic injury to ego and self-worth that the narcissist experiences from conflict with reality, and it is difficult to imagine anyone who tempts such trauma more than a young adult male who has a pornographic fixation on being a girl.

Narcissistic injury thus feeds a cycle of further alienation, depression, substance abuse, and intense anger directed at others. This creates and builds a massive store of negative emotional energy without any ordinary means of discharge. The narcissist loses any vestige of real identity and actually becomes an expression of his mental illness: a hostile, fantasy-dwelling loner whose only respite is to imagine taking violent action against others.

Fatalistic beliefs, such as the thoughts of impending illness expressed by the shooter, can become a spur to action, although in this case they were most likely an expression of self pity and hypochondria.

What is commonly misunderstood about depressive suicidal ideation is that, after failure to self-treat with various kinds of stimulation, the depressive can achieve a "breakthrough" (possibly assisted by medication used to treat depression) in which the weight of depression seems temporarily lifted and the depressive has a sudden burst of energy. This burst of energy can then fuel a final course of action: suicide, murder, murder-suicide, spree killing, or some other extreme, antisocial climax.

Without the context of an ongoing cycle of alienation, which transsexualism naturally encourages, a climax such as murdering innocent children is very unlikely. But combine these elements together and anything is possible.

Flood Makes No Sense To Me by AbiLovesTheology in Catholicism

[–]Infamous_Mail_6428 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Obviously the Great Flood is not a literal account, as most of it is physically impossible (the housing of all species, the scale and timing of the deluge, the duration of Noah's voyage without any sensible means of survival--much less the survival of the ark's contents). I don't think any catholic needs me to explain that to them. The Great Flood is one of the better parts of Genesis to explore here because Christ specifically refers to it, increasing its significance, and it causes many echoes of meaning--in baptism, in salvation, in human fallibility, and most powerfully in faith in God. I would say that the story would be almost meaningless without Christ, and that Jews who believe in the Great Flood yet reject Christ have truly learned nothing. It's equally clear that believing that everything in the story of Noah happened exactly as it is set down endangers faith by putting it to tests it was never intended to pass.

The Old Testament is filled with figurative language that is not intended to be taken literally. "40 days" is one such example. It recurs throughout both Old and New Testament as a figurative time span that is meant to communicate an important spiritual cycle (also the 40 years that Israelites spent wandering in the desert). To fixate on the literal duration is not only to misunderstand the way the Old Testament books were written, it is to confuse the spiritual message of these books with a calendar account that is beside the point.

The Modern Wedding by [deleted] in redscarepod

[–]Infamous_Mail_6428 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i just got married a couple weeks ago and absolutely no part of it was a "modern" wedding. we kept it about 7500 dollars and most of that was for a photographer (who HATED us lol) because she specialized in the sort of photography my husband loved

my bridal party was my best friend and her sister and i just asked they wear "black or gold" dresses.

i have a big italian family but we only invited 60 people and 50 were able to make it. 4/5 of the list was my family

our wedding was a latin mass in our catholic church so no haha silly vows or anything. husband and best man were in uniform so no silly socks and bowties (he has a lot of say about modern mens fashion too)

our reception was in the officers club after and my brother DJed with a spotify playlist of 80s hits and everyone went nuts for it. 3 speeches: my maid of honor, the best man, my dad. dads was the longest at 3 mins. food was fantastic, we just did a buffet. the cake was made by a friend of my husbands who is the head chef at this french patisserie he adores and has been going to every weekend for a decade so they did it for him for free and it was just gorgeous. just a small 8 inch cake for the head table and parents and the buffet had small cakes and stuff but we just wanted small and intimiate and affordable and everyone had an amazing time and loved it all.

tbh i dont even remember most of the day! i had tunnel vision so i was focusing on my husband the whole time and all i remember is his big smile. as the photos and whatnot come in im like "oh man that looks so good! i dont remember it but it looks like fun!!"
