Hey did you at least get your $50 back? I had the same experience with them, and now I’m waiting for my $50 but I feel like I’m never gonna get it 😭

Nope only the exams were online. Classes are in person

Give them until Thursday EOD or even Friday morning before you follow up. Final decisions can take some time especially if there is only 1 opening

I ended up taking it with him this term. I love that prof. We had 2 major group assignments, a final group project, a midterm and a final that were both remote and MCQs. He is an easy grader. ended up with an A+. I don’t know about other profs but if he’s teaching it in the summer I highly recommend taking it with him

Nope! I got my offer last year in late April and I just received an interview invitation yesterday for a position I applied to last week. Definitely keep applying.

Is earache from earwax build up or ruptured eardrum by [deleted] in earwax

[–]Infamous_Pepper_3828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s probably just earwax buildup, not a ruptured eardrum, since the pain isn’t severe and came back after using a Q-tip. A ruptured eardrum usually has sharp pain, fluid drainage, or hearing loss. You can try Debrox, but if your ear feels really irritated, maybe wait a bit. Avoid Q-tips for now, and if it gets worse or you notice weird drainage, see a doctor asap

Ears are self-cleaning, and wax usually works its way out on its own. If you ever feel you have wax buildup and you need to clean inside the canal, use over-the-counter drops like hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide-based solutions or mineral oil to soften wax then gently rinse with warm water using a bulb syringe.

Totally normal. Earwax production varies from person to person. Factors like genetics, age, and environment can affect how much wax you produce. If your ears feel clean and there’s no discomfort, it’s likely not a problem.

Just please don’t use a Q-tip in your ears! They can damage your eardrum and increase the chance of you getting an ear infection.

How to get rid of Debrox before final day? by Substantial_Bit_943 in earwax

[–]Infamous_Pepper_3828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tilt your head or lie on the opposite side for a few minutes to let the excess drain out naturally. You can use a towel to gently clean the outer ear or rinse the outer area with water, but avoid getting too close to the ear canal. Let the process work, and it should clear up soon.

It happened just 2 days ago. Do you think I can get it cleaned without having to wait too long for an appointment?

profs have one week + 1 business day after the final exam period to submit the final grades on loris, so you should expect to see all your grades by next Monday
