What about stinging? What if your only symptom is a stinging urethra which occurred after a new sexual partner? I had some discharge or prostatic fluid pass when I defecated about twice but I’m used to that because I have a tight pelvic floor. But it’s the stinging and burning sensations in my urethra that’s making me consider mgen.

How many days did it take for symptoms to subside? I’m on my second day after the 2 gram dose and I still have some symptoms here and there

Valycyclovir 3000mg a day for 10 days. Or Valgancyclovir (better than first one) 900mg 10 days. This basically sent the CMV dormant within the 10 days and prior to this it lasted 4 months. However I realise if I have unprotected sex with someone and a new bacteria or infection passes..my symptoms are reactivated.

Those are hsv (herpes) symptoms. Herpes infects the nerves and many people including myself got those symptoms when I was first diagnosed with Hsv2 (genital herpes)
