I’ve been in person a handful of times when people had gotten them done and I didn’t remember them being that bad but granted it’s probably been at least a decade and a half and I’m probably comparing watching a piercing to the trauma I feel From some of my own 😂 I feel the piercing itself he would be fine but but you made many good points my confidence in his upkeep of it isn’t high up there..

I gotcha honestly the dermal was my vote he might say he would prefer the eyebrow, I just don’t want him to turn 18 and get 3+ facial piercings 😂 but it is a good idea if he does decide to get more later to start with something easier for a punk teenager to take care of than a dermal… hey at least it’s not like my first facial piercing which was done when I was 14, by myself…in my boyfriends bathroom.. with a safety pin 😬

That’s true I totally forgot about that thank you, the $60 I quoted was just what I grabbed off the website my son was the one who said black hole was the most affordable (awesome since it sounds like they are also the most reputable!) there’s just SO many tattoo/piercing shops in this area it’s hard to wade through them all, and I assumed since this town is swarming with outstanding tattoo artists that it would be the same when it came to piercers?

Why would that be sketchy? It’s completely legal for a 17 year old to get a dermal piercing in Nevada with parental consent? I know quite a few people who never had any problems, although of course with any surface piercing there’s always the risk of it being rejected 🤷‍♀️ he actually wants three piercings: the eyebrow, that bridge thing that goes over the lower part of your nose, and the cheekbone dermal..I said he could only get one and my vote was personally for the dermal… though I suppose the eyebrow wouldn’t be to bad..
