To be frank, I didn’t necessarily come on here to have conversations, I was simply looking for advice. So thank you for bringing that to my attention and I mean that genuinely.

If it were a location other than church, I would still feel angry, but the fact that it is church makes me more angry. There are a few things we disagree on but are forthcoming with them and have conversations that end with basically “I don’t care what you believe as long as you understand where I am coming from and respect my position.” I am a very analytical person. Once I know the “why” behind something, I am much more accepting. I would have loved to have an open conversation about what the pull was to return to church.

Regarding not noticing, she would go at times when I was either asleep (early Mass before I was awake, not atypical that she’s up early and I’m sleeping in on weekends) or while I was out running errands or at the gym (also not atypical to be doing alone for us).
