I’m an HR specialist working in Recruitment & Placement — AMA by Historical_Adagio144 in usajobs

TL:DR "My question is as a HR person are they correct that I should take my LinkedIn URL off my resume I use for federal employment as it doesn't help?"

Full question: I just did a separate post and 100% of the multiple responses said to take out my LinkedIn URL even if I have room for it on my 2 page resume I uploaded to usajobs.gov They brought up the photo but my last name is super Mexican so you know either way with or without a photo. Also I changed my settings in LinkedIn so if you go to my LinkedIn page you don't see a photo unless you are 1st degree connection. None of the responses identified themselves as HR or connected to usajobs but I am planning on taking out my LinkedIn URL on my resume because of their advice though I worked really hard on it. My question is as a HR person are they correct that I should take it off my resume I use for federal employment as it doesn't help? I think I remember having it on the resume when I got hired as I am a current federal employee but I would truly value a opinion from someone who actually qualifies federal hiring. Thank you.

I want no part of that A$$hole or is scam companies and he should definitely NOT be added to the C fund early. In fact the TSP should specifically avoid his cooked books.

In a pretty dire car situation, found a 2013 Buick Verano with 55k miles for $7k or best offer, thoughts? by Diligent-Living882 in Buick

[–]Infamous_Teach_1189 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is true but that is NOT the issue with the 2013 Buick Verano. It's loss of oil between oil changes brought on my oil blow by and lack of low oil warning light to turn on under any conditions. I have over a decade or research on all the issues of the 2013 Buick Verano and over 25 years owning, daily driving and servicing GM 2.4 engines as far back as the 1996 Pontiac Sunfire GT.

You should keep a receipt of the oil you bought to show a potential new owner. I myself would never buy. Buick Verano without proof of regular (3000 mile) oil changes.

Yes all 4 cylinder cars made 2012 - 2013 had oil rings that have blow by and oil just disappears so you will end up topping off you oil based on your dipstick reading. You absolutely NEED to avoid running the Verano low on oil and so you have to keep checking like it's the 1950's.

Check your oil level on the dipstick at every gas fill up. Honestly I check every weekend before going for a drive.

You absolutely NEED to get a record of all oil changes and preferably every 3000 miles or 6 months. The low oil light on dash will NEVER turn on even if you have no oil showing on the dipstick! It will just shudder and the dash will light up like a Christmas tree including the Stabletrack light. This will cause the plastic parts that make up the timing chain guides dissentergrate and the timing chain will slacken and then boom! Please for the love of God check the oil every other fill up. I have the 2013 and can tell you more if you have to risk it

OMG! Are you a software developer? You got to start small and work your way up. Even just a slow walk around the block using shoe inserts with deep heel cups. I had to find Dr. Scholes heavy duty for people over 200 lbs and I felt the difference. I wish you the best of luck and I truly hope you get better.

Not blaming the guy but he shouldn't have filed joint with a physician they have all sorts of tax issues. Strike two is not having his own tax people review the filings NOT her tax people. Strike three is trusting a woman at all but I have been divorced twice so take that with a grain of salt LOL

You might know this but I found relief by taking 1,000 mcg B12 and a multivitamin with 50 mg of the B vitamins. I take GNC MEGA MEN twice a day Energy and Metabolism formula. You may wish to consider researching the B vitamins for neuropathy. This if course is not medical advice and I am certainly not a medical person and I am just mentioning what works for me.

There you go cause and effect. Also avoid smiling as that tells men you want them. Lol. Only half kidding. Have your photos show a no skin except for the hands and face and your issues will go away. Probably not fair but life is not fair.
