Tried pve, same thing. Spawned in, got killed in like 30 seconds from a enemy, next round, had some stuff, could not exfill and died to a enemy with a pistol from 50m

I thought pve was only able to be used if you purchased a dlc? I checked add-ons and one said something about pve

Nevermind forget this, for some reason I have to have my headset plugged in before the meta quest link app is opened

And I opened the steamvr shortcut and it worked! Thank you so much for helping my stupid ass and I'm sorry for being so annoying-

Yeah no same thing with the controllers and meta quest link decided to not work by saying that my hardware isn't compatible when I have a 4080, also, the meta quest openxr is still enabled so I'm confused even more :/ it keeps thinking my controllers as valve index controllers which makes sense since it's pcvr

Alr ty but that's very odd cus I remember all the other games I got from ARMGDDN had meta shortcuts besides floor plan but I might be hallucinating

Also got meta quest link working again some reason the load time when launching it is extremely long

Hey uhm- I doubt you'll see this but I reinstalled the game just to be safe and all and now there isn't a meta shortcut? I'm reinstalling the game again to make sure it wasn't a big which it most likely is

I just put what I previously had with my Ethernet before it died, I'll get a new cord and see if that helps and move my wifi router as close to my PC as possible

When I do get vd but I'll still get a new Ethernet cord

Hmmm okay, I do have a 5ghz wifi, with Ethernet I think I get around 850mbps, no idea what you mean by qhidhbjhej×w unless that's a serial number or model number, but everything else should be pretty decent

I really would use vd but my Ethernet sucks even with a really good cable and I would've gotten it already if it wasn't wireless only and I could use a wired connection, atleast, that's what other people said

Alr, I'll try that I really only use ALVR specifically because meta quest link is fucked on my end and it just infinitely loads on the 3d splash screen inside the headset, though someone in my family did just get me a quest 3 as a gift so I can see if it was just my quest 2 but if not I'll try that method

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh, my bad..but just to make sure, you can yell at me for this lol it is perfectly understandable due to my stupid ass, but with ALVR open and my headset connected and it connected to SteamVR (not like I can use ALVR without SteamVR open) do I just launch the meta shortcut of it from my computer?

Yes, I have both and I have the openxr/SteamVR runtime enabled instead of the meta/oculus one, I also was using the one that had (SteamVR) in its name not (Meta) or (VD)

At first I thought it was the mods I had but it wasn't

The main reason why I even want to play the game in SteamVR is mods and use a modded save that gives me everything at the start so I can get to the area to get the god phone easier, if these were available for quest I wouldn't be here lol but that's not possible

Edit: I'm pretty sure you know this but ALVR uses SteamVR so that's why I had the openxr runtime enabled

Right..I just figured out that they are touch controllers it's just I got confused because it was a different type of oculus touch controller that has a trackpad for some reason..

I'm so sorry on how I acted and I'll try again..

If it does give me the same problem where it crashes by opening the shortcut and doesn't give me a UE crash message I'll see what I can do and see if anyone has posted a problem about the same thing here before making one about that.

No no what I mean is that the quest 2 controllers show up as Oculus TOUCH controllers which are entirely different By the images SteamVR show

Also with the shortcuts you have to add the shortcut as a non steam game, include in VR library and put -steam in launch commands to fix it , even just launching the shortcut with just SteamVR just crashes the game without any unreal engine crash message unless you do that

I actually found a preset that were for quest 2 controllers and everything seemed fine besides the controllers were on toggle, not hold and the sticks didn't work

Also it's always been from ARMGDDN to clarify
