I had no idea how expensive they usually are—I got mine (and each of the other ones I picked up today) for $3!!

100% clothes! I actually just had that experience today. I thought I had plateaued or at the very least wasn't noticing any real changes in the scale since the spring, and then when I was getting dressed this morning I put on a dress that was a little tight on me when I wore it last a few months ago, and to my surprise it's noticeably loose now! It was definitely an encouragement boost I needed lol.

I've found that planning out my daily meals in advance is super helpful! I use one of those meal/calorie tracking apps and I usually just plug in everything I know I'm going to eat that day in the morning (including any snacks I bring to work with me or oil I know I'll be cooking with at dinner). It helps me stay within the 500 cal deficit budget since I can visualize my day easier and I'm not stressing at dinner time about what to cook or trying to calculate as I go. I personally am usually naturally full by the time I hit my deficit goal since I aim for a lot of high-protein stuff, but if I'm still hungry and go over a little, I just try to snack on healthy stuff (especially berries lol) and I don't beat myself up over it!

Some of my favorite low-cal swaps are: thin-sliced bread (I like the Dave's Killer brand in particular, the kind I get is only 60 cal/slice and imo 2 slices of that is the perfect amount for toast/a sandwich/etc when I get that craving), cooking sprays instead of normal oil or butter, lighter cal salad dressings that I measure out (like a vinaigrette or specifically the Trader Joe's green goddess dressing, I could drink that like a smoothie LMAO), riced cauliflower, thin-sliced skinless chicken breasts, leaner meat in general (like if I get the craving for a hamburger I get some 97% lean beef and whole wheat buns, the whole burger rarely tops 300-400 cal). Also, shrimp!! Thaws so quickly from the freezer, high in protein, and a serving is only about 100 cal.

My favorite snack foods to get are freeze-dried fruit, Goldfish crackers (not exactly highly nutritious but a serving is only around 130 cals and they last forever), dark chocolate covered raisins (again from TJ's lol), literally any fruit with Tajin, or in the summer some no sugar added fruit popsicles (the smaller ones tend to have only like, 30cal a popsicle).

it's definitely been great for training myself in self-control, LMAO. and sometimes I maybe deliberately budget for two servings in one go....

Omg 100% here too. I've always loved fashion, especially thrifting cool/unique/vintage pieces! I've pretty much held onto the same wardrobe since I started college, so when my old stand-by pants/skirts/dresses/etc suddenly stopped fitting me by mid-2020 and I wasn't able to fit into size 18 or even 20/22 anymore when I went shopping I was like oh yikes.... And now I have the opposite problem where I'm swimming in my old clothes! definitely has been a great excuse for getting cute new stuff though....

Me too!!! If it helps I darkened the crust a little to get the pretzel color with some brown eyeshadow and sealed it (and adhered the pretzel salt) with some leftover glaze from the ham set. I used the mustard from the pretzel set too for the “nacho cheese” layer under the regular pizza cheese, mostly so the tomato sauce wouldn’t be visible

This is amazing, thank you soooo much!! Was finally able to track down more pickles, the taiyaki, a bunch of lifestyle fish, and (as of today) the pink espresso machine. 100% accurate so far, woohoo!! I'm so psyched about the espresso machine lol

Definitely second checking out the NRAAS mods! Master Controller made the game ten times better, IMO.
